- getrealnow, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23Some of these applications are really neat. The "DuggBack" seems to be the most important application of them all. You all know how the diggeffect can rip apart websites!
- fataluber, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21Good work to everyone that made something with API
- essjay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14And I h8 it almost as much as people who can't be bothered to type four characters instead of two.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9DiggTop is very convenient to have. It would be great to see it further develop and hopefully have it for my Ubuntu. :)

I wanted to use several of these but Adobe Apollo isn't compatible with Linux, so I'm outta luck.
Hopefully somebody will figure out a way to fix this sooner than later - estacado, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Are you ready for the wrath of the Digg community. Never mention the "V" word.

The only one that uses the Adobe Apollo platform is DiggTop. Adobe plans to release Apollo for Linux eventually. - nicxvan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3me 2
- patrickloggins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Cool stuff, although half of that was always possible by re-arranging an RSS feed or two.
- Stegg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Here's a little app I whipped. It's a histogram for digg stories and uses less than 20 lines of code (gotta love rails).

It's awesome in that it does the exact thing I need. :) - unclesaamm, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6***** THE RIA--
oh, oops. - ChrisRo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I really like the Digg Smart Button. It's a little light on the options, but I can see expanding off this idea.
- furst, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'd like to see an RSS feed for the videos that embeds the video directly into the feed so I don't have to visit youtube, metacafe, etc. every time I want to check out a submitted video.
This would make browsing Digg through Google Reader oh so joyful. - EerFoolWVU, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@estacado (#6407812)
diggest uses Apollo as well for the desktop version which is the one that I want to use - OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4The Digg API is too powerful for Vista to handle.
- severtskigcc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1DiggReSS now has that feature. Thanks for the idea.
http://diggress.com - drewolanoff, on 06/10/2008, -0/+1great post.

- lightn899, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5How about a Vista sidebar gadget? Anyone?
- drag0ns1ayer, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3People who love Kevin Rose?
Nope, I'm not one of them...assuming that these diggs are coming from people who actually love Kevin Rose, as opposed to those who are merely kissing up to him in the futile hope of getting some attention in return.
In the long run, those, like Kevin Rose, who fall in love with themselves end up with fewer and fewer rivals. - Web2Point0, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5Go back to the original story and read the comments that some readers have left:
http://mashable.com/2007/04/29/7-awesome-things-built-on-the-digg-api/
Then decide for yourself whether the commenters are making a valid point.
Are they right or wrong? What do YOU think?
Comments? Suggestions? - nicxvan, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2@ estacado: somebody can't see sarcasm... I wonder who?
- barbarac, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3meh...
no digg - PayneX, on 10/12/2007, -19/+12The Apple Pie is too expensive.
- Seth024, on 10/12/2007, -15/+3Yeah DuggBack looks very important although I always like to know who's digging Kevin Rose's submissions.
- NickBalogh, on 10/12/2007, -19/+6I like pie
- shunpike, on 10/12/2007, -14/+1DuggBack and The FireFox extension look like the best ones there. i h8 it when smaller sites go down, almost as much as i h8 it when someone has submitted one of my stories! lol
