- JonGretar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Umm... Am I the only one not seeing a single thing alike between digg and listible. Digg is more like a news service. Listible has multiple lists of links. I don't see ANY functional resemblence between these two.
I'm always amazed on how much religion everyone creates of everything. - jeffness, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10not a single innovation? you didn't even look at it, did you? it's a different concept than digg. Digg allows users to submit a story, which can then be collaboratively brought to the forefront.
listible allows users to create a list of like resources, and then rank that list. it's like digg, but with categorization and ranking of those lists added.
it's similar to digg in the same way that digg is similar to slashdot or fark... digg is an extension of news agregators which adds a community moderation aspect, and this listible site is an extension of the digg idea, adding categorization.
i hate the name though, listible. ugh. bad spelling. - barbarac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Why are all the comments about the type of service rather than the actual content of the post?
- jeffness, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Digg isn't itself a ripoff or an extension of other ideas in a new way?
ah yes, the defensive nature of community shows itself once more. - lalindsey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Are personal attacks neccessary?
- stealurface, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i read that as "1337 online tools for webmasters"
- Leech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2hhehe. well.. I've started this list just with links I've in del.icio.us and found everywhere.. not a rip off at all..
Also the Listible lists are collaborative lists not to get credits by create the list like if anyone post his blog post with a list. Just use or collaborate if you wish.
anyway, listible server/webmasters sucks.. - oleeid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's 138 resources right now!
- theadvinci, on 07/03/2008, -0/+1Who has time to look at even half of them? Not to mention using them.
- pygmy, on 01/12/2009, -0/+1***** you. reported.
- carguy84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, 137 tools and not a single one has to do with backups.
What good is a website and its tools if after a server crash you lose everything?
Chip- - puggy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Who exactly is this Webmaster we're talking about? :)
- lalindsey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wtf does that have to do with this story dude? all you have to do is put in your info to tell them your interested and when it's open they will let you know.
- Daniel591992, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Try this
http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:http://www.listible.com/list/online-tools2C-generators2C-checkers - jswaby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is definitely pretty nice. I just used a few of the things for my department website and it works great.
- Vortech89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's 138 tools! Not 137!
- mojaam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"An must keep" ??? Haha that sounds funny. But anyway, I probably dug the first 2 listable links since they was new and interesting, but now, listible should also become a taboo like Wikipedia or del.icio.us links. I mean it just doesn't make sense linking to those sources like that.
- dognose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1pretty sure this is all spam, considering most of it goes to one site.
- jupo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It looks like a lot of useful links are located here. The list application also appears appealing as well
- jus1haz2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1accept for the fact that need better hosting
- davidmsc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This isn't a Digg ripoff. And FWIW, I stumbled across the site yesterday (from delicious?), and it's pretty cool.
- seventoes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is why digg needs automatic corel caching... how hard would it be? Maybe just make it so the first person to click the link visits the corel cache instead, so that the site is cached...
- d03boy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Maybe people didnt like the website after they visited it so they didnt digg it.
- rc_collins, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I wish i could post images in my digg comments.
- tdlrali, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1down...
- grapetonic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Maybe not online tools but can anyone say "Emacs + nxml-mode"? =P
- neoblue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool... Look like it is up again..
- oleeid, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3The Digg effectet is better(worse) than a DDOS attack!
- taherk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Some more similar webmaster tools are at http://www.itdiscover.com .
- cazamova, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0try http://www.rethinkit.com/products_weblogreport.htm
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.design-sites.net/
- computerbynar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1no feedburner?!?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+247 diggs and its experiencing the digg effect, gg.
- bonoes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0And it's down...
- panique, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2LOL and it can't even stand up to the digg effect. BAD LINK
- renpatel, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1nice..
- airhead75, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Wow, easy on the Digg patriotism. It's a bit sickening.
- AssProphet, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Let me know when there are 1337 toolz ;)
- foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1wuts the deal? on the web ppl say frack or frak copying BSG. wierd.
- burnt1ce85, on 10/12/2007, -11/+4i agree with rusty_g. This is a rip-off of digg.
- rusty_g, on 10/12/2007, -12/+5ok seriously, linking from Digg.com to another copycat... come on man...
- burnt1ce85, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2There's not a single innovation in listible. that's why i call it a rip-off.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -24/+3this is a rip off... you suck....
