10. jQuery File Tree http://abeautifulsite.net/notebook.php?article=58 - ModernTenshi, on 01/22/2009, -0/+10I've never been a fan of drop down navigation on websites, simply because just mousing around can cause it to fire off, and if not implemented properly it can cause render issues. I just find it distracting.
I do like the way digg's works by having the user click and not automatically dropping down the menu when they mouse over. - inactive, on 01/22/2009, -0/+8These are pretty standard.
- ProjectGSX, on 01/22/2009, -1/+8I fail to see the brilliance.
- milkmit, on 01/22/2009, -0/+61 Brilliant Technique to Down a ***** Server
- inactive, on 01/22/2009, -1/+5if by "brilliant" you mean fairly decent, then yes they are.
- konrad8ha, on 01/22/2009, -0/+3"Multi-Level-Dropdown-Menus" = usability nightmare.
This reeks of fail. - inactive, on 01/22/2009, -0/+2Thanks much for the links. The dugg article was painfully slow to load!
- Phegan, on 01/22/2009, -1/+3Not so much brilliant, considerably more run of the mill.
Not really impressed, but decent. - JoeLeo, on 01/22/2009, -0/+2Any drop down menu with more than one level decreases usability.
Try and use it on an iPhone or watch grandma and grandpa try to navigate a multilevel drop down. - newwildlife, on 01/22/2009, -1/+2This came just in time for me! In the middle of revamping a customers website!
- odonovanpm, on 01/23/2009, -0/+1They are all clean, intuitive menus that you could make fit most web applications... If like me you spend more time programming and fear the "design" stage of a project it's well worth a look at the source code.
- forevernomad, on 01/22/2009, -1/+2These are all really *****, apart from vimeo, which is cool just because of the search options, but even that could be better.
Three simple things:
Jquery.animate, accessible li menus and CSS, the possibilities are endless.
Note to designers: see above. - stealth31, on 01/22/2009, -1/+1Brilliant? No.
Useful to MANY? I'd bet on it. - ampcstu, on 01/23/2009, -0/+0Great sources I ever seen!
- egturnkey, on 02/14/2009, -0/+0Brilliant? No.
Useful to MANY? I'd bet on it with

Tihomir,
http://www.devtheweb.net - lovemorgul, on 01/22/2009, -7/+5This is an easy to implement multi-level drop-down menu.
