- Rummey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+79The server clearly couldn't handle the World saying Hello.
- nreynolds, on 10/12/2007, -8/+47Why not just make it an even 1337?
EDIT: Wait. I hate leet. Why not make it an even 1024? - Rummey, on 10/12/2007, -2/+36Dugg Mirror is useless on a site like this.
- transeunte, on 10/12/2007, -3/+31Good ol' Steve has four:
Developers developers developers developers - aphonik, on 10/12/2007, -4/+30There is only one word for that site: awesome.
- cfazzini, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Most ***** excellent, been looking for exercises to increase my skills, and there we are!
- EXreaction, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Copy the link location that you want to see from dugmirror
EX: http://www.spoj.pl/problems/TEST/
Go to google.com and search for cache:(url)
EX: cache:http://www.spoj.pl/problems/TEST/
EDIT: I see digg just loves screwing my urls up(and I don't know how to get by that...I don't use digg.com a lot). You just have to copy/paste(unless someone copies my post and fixes it for ya :D) - zecreven, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I think admin of this site is facing with some administration exercises :P
- Cyphase, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I was just looking for something like this yesterday. Thanks!
- Siroro, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Another similar site is TopCoder http://www.topcoder.com/tc (Click on algorithm and then Launch Arena).
You can either use the past events or you can wait for events/competitions and take part in them (many of which have cash prizes). - bioskope, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Hello World
- bluemeany271828, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6this is excellent. one of the problems i had with learning a new language was what to actually program besides 'hello world'
- sievo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4http://acm.uva.es/problemset/
Another site with 1966 programming problems, with an online judge that works with C, C++ or Java. - xlocust, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3As a beginning programmer, this is exactly the type of site I have been looking for. Thanks dude!
- sievo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3correction: judge works in Pascal, too.
why digg! why can't we edit! - enochrooted, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Maybe this would be solved if digg would have some kind of digg-cache, just like google has.
- piesforyou, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3How unusual.
- piedood, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Amazing resource - dugg and bookmarked. Archives like this provide open and free material to increase the speed of problem solving, something that would often cost a lot of money
- chovy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2server has been *thunder struck*...
Welcome to Sphere Online Judge!
We are currently experiencing some technical problems. Please return to us within 30 minutes. - VeganBob, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3@elnerdo
Hello World Page
http://www2.latech.edu/~acm/HelloWorld.shtml - gann, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Grab 183.5517 more submission and if they all correct, then the ratio becomes....
42% !
Now you know the ultimate question to life, the universe, and everything! - andrewdotnich, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2the PDF booklet link from duggmirror still works...
- gann, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Or, get more 187 submissions, and out of them, 185 are correct.
Then the ratio is, again, 42%!
This time it's solved for integers so it took a bit longer time... - iWasHere, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Want even more problems...
http://acmicpc-live-archive.uva.es/nuevoportal/ - Jack9, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4First excercise, learn to configure my.cnf
/technical - theLured, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Digg is great. This site is crashing down. Digg is just a type of DDOS. Soon digg will get an attitude and any site that gets in its way will be down in a few minutes.
- LKBM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is nice. There are many others like it. Just search for 'Programming contest problems'. Even just browsing these problem lists can be fun. You don't have to do them to develop an appreciation for those seemingly academic things you learned in school. 'Ah, NFA aren't just something to teach along the way to REs. They also help win programming contests!'
Well...maybe not. But I like 'em. - burke, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Wow, the server finally died. Now it refuses to even try to connect to the MySQL server.
- MeDuZa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The site is Great !
but where can i see the solutions / answers for the problems ? - kvsingh2, on 08/25/2009, -0/+0haha same with me
- greycap, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Host 'pyr' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in /var/www/spoj/includes/mysql_connect.inc.php on line 15
And yet the digs keep coming. - renrutal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1http://www.spoj.pl/problems/TEST/

Are these programmers brain dead or something? - purplemoon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Great! This has almost all the excercises I have been looking for.
- theLured, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I like your idea. Maybe digg could cache a site, keep the data for a day and if there are enough hits then it should keep the data for a longer time. This would be very handy.
- premedios, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1What the hell!?! The site is down!
- NomenNescio, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Awesome!
- tmilam, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1http://web.archive.org/web/20060423010052/http://www.spoj.pl/problems/classical/
This site links to link archives, so you won't have the problem that you have clicking on links in duggmirror........shouldn't this be a feature of duggmirror ???
this site is slow too, but at least not completely unresponsive! - jedikv, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1same here
- bigrodey77, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Hey at least it's fast!
- JacNet, on 10/12/2007, -12/+8http://duggmirror.com/programming/1043_programming_exercises/
- ragnorok999, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3Too many SQL connections :(
Also; duggmirror doesn't work because its a compilation of links not all on the same page.. - elnerdo, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4Don't forget
Cout ** "Hello world";
PRINT "Hello world"
MessageBox.Show("Hello World!")
Anybody got any others?
**Digg won't let me use those symbols in a comment. - MalDON, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Looks like the site owner needs to do some of their lessons :D
- GoblinSoul, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0Nice, was just looking for something to challenge me :D
- burke, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2public class MyClass{ public static void main(String args[] ) { System.out.println("Hello, World!");}}
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1and it's down :)
