Transatlantic Two Step
thenewamerican.com — A process is underway to bring economic integration between the United States and the European Union. This process includes an attempt to use "top down" pressure to bring about a "Common market" between the USA and the E.U. The Transatlantic Policy Network, an NGO, seeks to bring this common market to fruition. Senator Robert Bennett is involved.

Bennett of Utah should be chairing the Transatlantic Policy Network's Management Committee, but he hasn't told that to anyone at the last two Republican conventions to which he has spoken in Utah nor to the Utah State Legislature, nor to Utah's media. What's he hiding? Is it possible that he knows that Utahans want to remain independent, sovereign and free? Is it possible he knows that we don't want to be entangled with the incredibly corrupt EU? This looks like a real betrayal on Senator Bennett's part. Six U.S. Senators, forty-nine U.S. Representatives, a host of leaders for multinational corporations, and members of the EU are combined in this secretive NGO, the Transatlantic Policy Network to bring about an entangling common market between the USA and the EU. This combination of power elites doesn't represent me, they represent economic power and political elites who don't seem to care about maintaining the economic independence and political independence fought for by our nation's founders. Are Americans in large numbers demanding an economic merger with the corrupt EU? No. This is a "top down" program, not something small businessmen, American workers, or the majority of Americans wants or is even aware of.
27 nations have already been tricked and trapped into the EU which they thought was merely an expansion of "free trade," but which has turned out to be a regional government with its own parliament that has powers over their national governments! The EU has become a trap that destroys national sovereignty and independence. National governments have had to replace their currency with the Euro and give up their control of monetary policy for their nation. They have given up more and more control of their law-making powers to the EU parliament.
We must not let these 50 states get entangled with the EU if we are to remain a free and prosperous people. Our nation will get one vote against twenty-seven votes in the EU and the majority will rule over us. It's like one sheep and twenty-seven wolves voting on what's for dinner. Exactly, what was the Revolution all about in the first place? To break free of the evil British Crown! My God our forefathers will have fought and died in vain because if this occurs America will once again become a "colony of the evil British Empire". Those are fighting words right there. Sounds to me we need to water down the "tree of liberty with a few patriots" again. And hang all the traitors in our government in the public square for all to see. So the next set won't get any bright ideas!!!!!

In the past few months I've been attending speeches hosted by the John Birch Society who(no matter what the critics say) are defending America from obvious globalist moves such as this one. I find it disgusting that members of our government like Bush and hundreds of others in the Council on Foreign Relations and their affiliates support the erosion of our country and the constitution, which they swore to uphold.
