- Anomaly100, on 11/30/2008, -0/+19This crap infuriates me. What is Bush trying to do? It's so intentional, as if he's really trying to screw us in every way possible. While his administration tries to tie Mr Obama's hands, I really hope Obama finds a way to retract all the crap he's trying to cement in place. Bush is such an evil little *****.
"A new president can unilaterally reverse executive orders issued by his predecessors, as Mr. Bush and President Bill Clinton did in selected cases. But it is much more difficult for a new president to revoke or alter final regulations put in place by a predecessor.' - GrandmaSheila, on 11/30/2008, -0/+15The Congress has to be pressured into actively working to undo everything Caligula is doing these days, it's up to them to reverse these policies, appointments, leases of public lands, deregulations, and alterations of existing law!
We should start contacting our representatives now, listing the ongoing crimes of the lame-duck junta against the public interest, and demand Congress review them. - lostlyrics, on 11/30/2008, -0/+10http://digg.com/world_news/Reuters_Iraq_s_cabinet_ ...

just two of about a dozen unacceptable plots at his successor. - allowners, on 11/30/2008, -0/+8The same old strategy is used again and again; wait on more evidence until life on earth ceases to exist. More to the point: Corporations to issue 20 contentious rules. Bush simply shuffles the paper and signs it.
- samimnot, on 11/30/2008, -0/+5-In law, Treason is the crime that covers some of the more serious acts of Disloyalty to one's Sovereign or Nation.
-Oran's Dictionary of the Law (1983) “In many nations, it is also often considered Treason to attempt or conspire to Overthrow the Government or to Change Laws in a manner that illegally removes Citizens Given Rights; even if no foreign country is aided or involved by such an endeavor.”
-Likewise the term "Traitor" is used in heated political discussion – or against officials in power who are perceived as failing to Act in the best Interest of their Constituents.
Not a Lawyer in real life ;-) but I play one on Digg...In my opinion, Bush is toast once he leaves office. - dirtpoorchris, on 11/30/2008, -2/+3Toast unless Obama ends up doing the same type of stuff that Pole-hole-si is doing.
- inactive, on 11/30/2008, -2/+2Presidential "rules", executive orders, blah, blah, blah. They mean nothing other than there are traitors in black uniforms with high powered weapons who will enforce them. The Constitution does not allow for the executive branch to make law.
We need to restore this country while we are still armed and capable of doing so.
