- kemp34, on 06/03/2008, -13/+260The Neocons seem to be puzzled with life in general.
- swrostmore, on 06/03/2008, -5/+200That's not the Scott I knew - the Scott I knew would have kept lying.
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -11/+199This is a good one. It's pretty funny actually. Chris Matthews has been forming a conscience lately. He called out the "appeaser" guy and now he called out these guys on talking straight from the Republican talking points. I guess he's jealous of Keith Olbermann getting all the attention for his rants.
- wild, on 06/03/2008, -4/+111Nick Naylor: -OK, let's say that you're defending chocolate, and I'm defending vanilla. Now if I were to say to you: 'Vanilla is the best flavour ice-cream', you'd say:
Joey Naylor: No, chocolate is.
Nick Naylor: Exactly, but you can't win that argument... so, I'll ask you: so you think chocolate is the end all and the all of ice-cream, do you?
Joey Naylor: It's the best ice-cream, I wouldn't order any other.
Nick Naylor: -Oh! So it's all chocolate for you is it?
Joey Naylor: Yes, chocolate is all I need.
Nick Naylor: Well I need more than chocolate, and for that matter I need more than vanilla. I believe that we need freedom and choice when it comes to our ice-cream, and that Joey Naylor, that is the definition of liberty.
Joey Naylor: But that's not what we're talking about
Nick Naylor: -Ah! But that's what I'm talking about.
Joey Naylor: ...but you didn't prove that vanilla was the best...
Nick Naylor: I didn't have to. I proved that you're wrong, and if you're wrong I'm right.
Joey Naylor: But you still didn't convince me
Nick Naylor: It's that I'm not after you. I'm after them." ***Points into the crowd*** - overtoke, on 06/03/2008, -7/+111They attack Scott, but notice they cannot refute anything he's stated.
- kemp34, on 06/03/2008, -5/+93"Catapult the propaganda." - George W. Bush
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -6/+73They do it for a living so they have a lot of practice. There are cracks in their armor though...and the truth always comes out. The inner circle is getting too big; all those secrets have to have somewhere to go. The sad thing is, all Fox News has to do is cover up 10 hours per day...you know. Nobody believes the ***** truth anymore. The truth is for crazy people under this administration. Isn't that what we're all supposed to believe?
- InfamousAtheist, on 06/03/2008, -8/+68The Bush White House Propaganda Machine is ***** unbelievably effective.
"Did you get together and discuss how to respond to this?"
If the complicit MSM is calling these guys out for all using the exact same lingo to describe their reactions to McClellan's book, then there's a concerted PR effort at work here, coming straight from the Cheney/Rove/etc. media spin machine.
I know, I'm stating the obvious.... these guys are criminals. Justice has left the building. - inactive, on 06/03/2008, -13/+69Conscience has a way of getting the way of doing evil *****.
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -2/+57"Chris Matthews has been forming a conscience lately."
He just knows which way the wind is blowing. - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -32/+76I would think it funny if this wasn't so serious- Folks, this is the face of the enemy. MSM has destroyed our country and we cannot allow ourselves to ever forget how they treated Ron Paul, a great man.
SHAMEFUL! The MSM liars should all be hung by the neck until dead, (after a trial of course, being found guilty of high TREASON) - xutopia, on 06/03/2008, -4/+46Funny how they don't debunk any of the claims in the book. All they do is make it sound like he's gone crazy.
- frankingeneral, on 06/03/2008, -4/+43Wow...did I see a few clips of members of the MSM actually calling out the Bush administration operatives on their talking points BS...Awesome...
- uselessexpert, on 06/03/2008, -3/+42The best part of all....
None of them have denied, or decried none of his allegations.
Not even Bush himself. - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -13/+47Olbermann is the presure release valve- he rants, but nothing ever comes of it. People feel better, and they think someone is being a watchdog.
Olbermann is controlled opposition. - sandersdamnit, on 06/03/2008, -1/+33i agree because the Nazis always bring the pass rush on third down, i mean always.
- JohnnyKdiggs, on 06/03/2008, -3/+34I'm gonna go out on a limb here and propose that these people were told what to say...
- blackinthmiddle, on 06/03/2008, -0/+30"I'm shocked, dismayed, saddened, puzzled even!"
"Why, because he's lying?"
"Well, because that's not the Scott that I know!" - kemp34, on 06/03/2008, -0/+28Yep, does the word "windsock" mean anything to diggers?
- elhaf, on 06/03/2008, -0/+28You win this thread, and the discussion about this subject in general. Please stop by the podium and pick up your prize on the way out.
- Stochio, on 06/03/2008, -1/+281 part Reagan conservative
1 part Hawk
1 part Growth-of-gov't-is-inevitable-so-shape-it (spend! spend! spend!)
Now, stfu. - inactive, on 06/03/2008, -8/+35scary, but funny
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -6/+30clearly more scared than 'puzzled'!
- Danktolker, on 06/03/2008, -2/+25Yeah, but the word "jizzsock" is much more popular with us
- louiebaur, on 06/03/2008, -6/+29They are all just puzzled and scratching their heads sounds like business as usual
- Shabow, on 06/03/2008, -8/+31I am just puzzled by this video.
- Tess101, on 06/03/2008, -4/+24Ron Paul supporters, and Ron Paul are speaking the truth about issues but didn't they call us all kooks? I guess when you tell the truth, and follow the Constitution you are considered a long shot, or a kook. Such a shame that a lot of Americans can't think for themselves anymore, and haven't paid attention, or researched the propaganda candidates, it's so sad. Oh, well they will get what they deserve come 2009 when the economy, and moral of this country will be at an all time low with one of the 3 stooges (Hillary, Obama, or McCain) at the helm. By the way, I believe every word that McClellan wrote, it has to be true, or the media and the White House would not have rushed so quickly to try to shut him down, and try to make him look bad, just like they did to Ron Paul, and his supporters, or any American that follows our Constitution.
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -1/+21Is that anything like 'wincest'?
- 955701, on 06/03/2008, -2/+21Did you honestly just wish that the Democrats were skilled at propaganda? Propaganda and Public Relations are deceptive tactics. Edwards Bernays and the rest of his peers should be dug up from their graves and tossed into the river for consumption by bottom feeders.
These guys did not do humanity a service. - skipdog172, on 06/03/2008, -2/+21Yet another person unwilling to do real research and educate themselves. The fact is, 90% of Americans really don't understand Ron Paul's ideology at all. That is the true problem.
- modernjazz, on 06/03/2008, -29/+47If only the Democrats had any skill at propaganda. Half of them love Bush, half hate him. They gave him such a pass ever since he defeated Gore and I think a little propaganda would've helped get their message straight. They've run their campaigns based on real-world economic problems and solutions, and not empty anti-Bush slogans about "Change." They can't seem to muster any kind of cohesive group that would share talking points among Democrats, and use the media, the movie industry, and book publishing, to help the country Move On.
But then, they don't have the benefit of studying and borrowing directly from the Nazi playbook like the Neocons do. It's an unfair advantage. - KazamaSmokers, on 06/03/2008, -1/+18The phrase is "cut and dried". And I honestly have to wonder what keeps the deniers going. I often think it's mental illness, but in many of their posts I see a mis-use of common phrases that leads me to think it's simply lack of education.
- pintomp3, on 06/03/2008, -2/+19it's funny how the media jumped on him screaming "he lied to us too!". well, that's what happens when you are lazy and use only once source of information. knight ridder managed to debunk the administrations claims just fine. if you suspect a company of wrongdoing, you don't just ask their PR guy and call it a day. our media was complicit in the lies that led up to the war.
- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -7/+23journalism is a powerful tool and misused can and does kill and destroys nations. you need to get off your fluoride treatments and wake up. this has nothing to do with 1st amendment rights.
- diggthis123, on 06/03/2008, -0/+16You're right, thats the ad hominem argument
"Scott is [ ], therefore his arguments are false" - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -3/+19you are seriously misinformed
- freezeout, on 06/03/2008, -6/+21I'm kinda scratching my head here, how do these NaziCons get so coordinated with the talking points?
- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -1/+16that rule is trumped by the rule:
"if the shoe fits, wear it"
and "looses" is the most misused word on the Internet. - kemp34, on 06/03/2008, -1/+15Yep. The full court press means there is something of major value there. Just like with the Ron Paul campaign.
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -1/+15bush is puzzled by pretzels.
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -3/+17Jesus these people are amazing. "I am saddened. I am heartbroken. I feel like crying."
- InfamousAtheist, on 06/03/2008, -3/+16They lost because the other world powers united against them. They lost only after the senseless and illegal murders of MILLIONS of people.
They attained immense political power and military might, stifled dissent, and began their persecution of the Jews using extremely effective propaganda.
The media in 1930s Germany was complicit as well.
There are good reasons for comparing the Bush admin to the Nazis and for calling them fascist - they sure seem to be acting the part. - Sairynn, on 06/03/2008, -1/+14Neo = new
con = conservative
therefore a "new-conservative" meaning, as jayscot said, "a big government tax and spend pseudo-conservative" - jayscot, on 06/03/2008, -2/+15A big government tax and spend pseudo-conservative.
- kemp34, on 06/03/2008, -1/+13No, the one who writes "looses" first loses.
- Hangly, on 06/03/2008, -0/+12At the same time he's legitimizing criticism, which can be a good thing.
Not saying he's not controlled opposition. If he is though I think the tactic might be backfiring. - ligyron, on 06/03/2008, -3/+15"Chris Matthews has been forming a conscience lately."
Sounds like the only thing you know about Chris Matthews is two videos you've seen posted on Digg - byronm, on 06/03/2008, -0/+12What you say while true in itself is far from the truth. If that makes sense ;) The Entire Neo-Con agenda is about political framing - framing the debate, framing your opponent and controlling the political power by wedge issues and mindless gib gab. Basically to steer away from the truth you frame the debates so you're talking about the authors credibility rather than the book itself. Just like they talk about the credibility of democracy in iraq rather than the war itself.
The Neons LOVE to play on peoples naive interpretations of red vs blue and they're extremely naive views of what makes america and what political capital means in a modern government. - inactive, on 06/03/2008, -1/+13***** grammar sucks!
- Progrockusa, on 06/03/2008, -8/+19Is their even a difference between republican and democrat anymore? (Republicrat)
