- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -26/+185oOOOHH, if y'all don't get this B*** out my face!!!
- MattFid, on 07/05/2008, -28/+164She is assuming Condi has a soul capable of regret or remorse.
And you know what they say about assuming. - TheGambit, on 07/05/2008, -13/+126You know, I don't really go for this kind of stuff (crazy woman with bloody hands), but I do think it's an excellent example of how people are starting to get fed up with the way things are going.
- giggitydiggity, on 07/04/2008, -3/+99bitc?
- TetaBonita, on 07/05/2008, -17/+103What's Condoleezza Rice? Is that some kind of Mexican food?
- brad3378, on 07/04/2008, -6/+88Damn - the real story should be the woman at the end of the video hauled off for doing NOTHING.
- markperia, on 07/05/2008, -4/+62makes an ass of u and Ming?
In a serious note I don't think she's ever gonna regret what she's done. These types of people actually believe that what they're doing is right. They chose not to hear and see. - briansearles, on 07/05/2008, -15/+72Taking the protest out of context, the codepink protester looks totally ***** crazy.
- langdonalger, on 07/05/2008, -8/+46did you really just make this popular? this is like 3 years old.
- db0255, on 07/04/2008, -65/+101Wow...good job heckler. Way to get your point across while also being appropriate. You ever notice that the more emotional your protest is, the more it doesn't work?
- darladoon, on 07/06/2008, -13/+47so let's see here, condi rice has the blood of 4,000 americans + scores of thousands of iraqis + scores of thousands of afghanis.......and this code pink woman is......out of line?
- superkendall, on 07/05/2008, -9/+40You don't even have to take it out of context.
There are better ways to disagree than costume stunts to get hits on YouTube. - ConAmoreEFuoco, on 07/06/2008, -10/+40*Now. You do understand that the concept of blood on one's hands references moral guilt rather than hand cleanliness, right?
- darladoon, on 07/05/2008, -25/+55code pink is the only group of women in the country who are actually doing what we should *all* be doing, which is.......making life very, very difficult for the most criminal administration in our nation's long and sad history.
- fissionvsfusion, on 07/05/2008, -4/+30I guess this is Rousseau in her first major role since LOST?
- Jibberwalk, on 07/05/2008, -12/+37This picture is especially fantastic... what with Condi's latest:
"And I am proud of the decision of this administration to overthrow Saddam Hussein''
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&si ... - CunnilingusRice, on 07/06/2008, -1/+26You rang?
- fadeout, on 07/05/2008, -20/+45The Code Pink nuts are an embarrassment to the liberal side of the spectrum (my side). Just try to watch the Daily Show interview with them in Berkley without cringing a few times.
- haydesigner, on 07/06/2008, -3/+23You never made it past 3rd grade, did you?
- kineticworm, on 07/04/2008, -4/+25they should be more like this guy.
http://digg.com/political_opinion/This_is_how_poli ... - blackhappy, on 07/06/2008, -4/+25Don't listen to them Condi, it washed right off for Pontius Pilate!
- zerepasil, on 07/05/2008, -3/+23drag them out instead of asking them to leave. maybe you are a cop or security officer.
- cadentsoul, on 07/06/2008, -15/+35Condi you gotta help! I left my maxipads at home!
- darladoon, on 07/06/2008, -5/+23dear poprocksandsoda,
no one, and i mean *no one*, is above the law. bush has admitted to breaking multiple federal laws, as well as the geneva conventions. but, in your mind, since he is not as awful as pol or milosevic, he should therefore be spared criticism, or *gasp*, prison time?
your argument, if you wanna call it that, is so absurd on its face that it deserves no response... - virtualonliner, on 07/05/2008, -7/+23OMG. How was this lost on MSM? The lady was literally dragged out of the room like a felon for doing absolutely nothing!
- YukosEyes, on 07/06/2008, -4/+18What do you mean you don't "go for this kind of stuff"? The protesters are competing for attention in a media/image saturated culture. They have resorted to what they had to to just get heard and seen. What decade are you living in? And I have to ask if you go for this kind of stuff when it's in a dramatic TV show, video game, or movie? I guess it's just more annoying when the dramatic images relate to reality and aren't just there for entertainment.
- silentboom, on 07/05/2008, -12/+25What's too hardcore? What will stop this globalization movement? What will stop the destruction of our currency and our way of life, our founding documents? A few years ago I would have agreed with you, but then I woke up and realized there is not much time left.
- darladoon, on 07/05/2008, -11/+23how many digg users care to know who that woman is, and what sort of incredible things she's accomplished? how many digg users know that she single-handedly took on Big Oil?
- darladoon, on 07/06/2008, -5/+17her:
http://www.americanswhotellthetruth.org/pgs/portra ...
she's an incredible american. - ronpaulfresh, on 07/06/2008, -7/+18That chick did the same thing to Rummy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pmcP1Roq6A - bassman12593, on 07/06/2008, -1/+11The word "Attacked" is tossed around a lot these days...
- darladoon, on 07/06/2008, -2/+12so, the ends justify the (illegal) means?
i don't think they do. and besides, the "liberation" of iraqi women was not one of bush's stated reasons for invading iraq.
so, in essense, your argument is BUNK> - oMeSSiaHo, on 07/06/2008, -13/+22That type of protest doesnt work. I would go so far to say it actually hurts the anti-war cause. Most people will see this and think the protesters are insane. We need reasoned and calm words backed by facts to make any change.
Remember when Jon Stewart called moveon.org "people you are ashamed to agree with". - jakefloyd, on 07/05/2008, -43/+51***** CONDOLEEZZA RICE!
- pgoetz, on 07/06/2008, -3/+11Um, your comment implies that an appeal to reason or common decency would have more impact on the current administration? Mind sharing with us what it was like being in a coma for the last 7.5 years? Beyond that, has it ever occurred to Wally-like ***** like yourself that people are just angry and want to vent, and no longer care what Bush-supporting little monkeys like yourself think? Of course not, your opinion is the only one that matters. Go back to watching Rush -- come back out of your hole when it's time to vote for McSame in a few months.
- niczar, on 07/06/2008, -2/+9Condi Rice, war criminal, was confronted by a courageous woman.
You call her a heckler. I call her a hero. - ultrasur1, on 07/06/2008, -3/+10judging by the quality of the replies in this thread and digg in general, i would say not many at all. thanks for the link darladoon
- Fightermelee, on 07/06/2008, -2/+9Amazing.
- ConAmoreEFuoco, on 07/05/2008, -24/+31Actually, the blood is on Rice's hands, really.
- inactive, on 07/05/2008, -4/+10duuude..
- schrankage, on 07/06/2008, -1/+7banana.
- inactive, on 07/06/2008, -2/+8Yea...I'm sure MLK didn't get his point across using these other ways.
- tucsonwc, on 07/06/2008, -2/+8As opposed to the ***** crazy neocons who have used our military to destroy a country (Iraq) to further their own ends?
- inkswamp, on 07/06/2008, -0/+5For those of you decrying these kinds of emotional, over-the-top protests, please consider why it's happening and that the protests against Bush's invasion of Iraq didn't start this way. At the beginning of the Iraq invasion, there were millions who peacefully and reasonably tried to make their voices heard and were outrighly ignored by Bush. Remember Bush saying he was going to be watching football and not paying any attention to the protests? That kind of willfull ignorance and arrogance in our leaders result in this kind of protest. The same thing happened during the Vietnam War.
- charlietuna, on 07/06/2008, -21/+26Code pink is off the hook. It's as if all the crazy jilted girlfriends of this world got together in some sort of nutty support group and then decided to reinforce the dysfunctions which caused their men to leave them. The fact that the war really is wrong is really besides the point that these are obsessive compulsive control freak chicks.
- Issius, on 07/06/2008, -5/+10That's "***** the RIAA!"
I fixed it =) -
