- Supernova36, on 04/29/2009, -8/+290Am I the only one who had never heard of 'Siren Blood Curse'?
- klitzbtc, on 04/29/2009, -10/+124I'm not voting for the Escapist to win anything considering everything I've seen on there sans ZP, sucks.
- MasterGrief, on 04/29/2009, -3/+102Did anyone else go and try to find out what "anencephalic" meant? Because I did, and it's ****** terrifying*.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anencephaly - Spacenoodle, on 04/29/2009, -15/+90Insert quote from the video + lol = massive digs
- TapperJones, on 04/29/2009, -1/+76Anyone else getting pissed off with the Webby Awards stuff being everywhere?
- wTheOnew, on 04/29/2009, -0/+68Those pictures are pretty ***** terrifying.
- SpookyBoots, on 04/29/2009, -5/+71Powerpoint ***** aside,
- kenhatesemos, on 04/29/2009, -0/+60dugg for the spoiler warning AFTER the spoiler.
- dnc34, on 04/29/2009, -5/+48Popeyes ran out of chicken. How am I supposed to feed my kids?
- gdo01, on 04/29/2009, -1/+41Check out this guy's history (http://digg.com/users/joey368/history/search?needl ... He used to be a Yahtzee fanboy up until September and then like a jilted lover he came to hate everything that had Yahtzee's name on it.
- AxmxZ, on 04/29/2009, -0/+39That doesn't get used nearly enough in daily conversations.
- Conguent, on 04/29/2009, -0/+31I just did an image search of this defect.
I don't recommend doing that. - voomfoo, on 04/29/2009, -8/+38It's Yahtzee day!!!
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -5/+30Brown ones say "aight" a lot
- MacEnvy, on 04/29/2009, -0/+22That's hilarious. Right around the Fable 2 review he gets all butthurt.
- hatdrop, on 04/29/2009, -0/+20***** ***** i don't think i'll be able to get those pictures out of my mind...i actually think that sort of case would be a justified abortion, "If the infant is not stillborn, then he or she will usually die within a few hours or days after birth from cardiorespiratory arrest."
- AxmxZ, on 04/29/2009, -6/+23My Wednesday is now complete.
- strictnein, on 04/29/2009, -7/+23Unskippable is pretty good.
- indochris609, on 04/29/2009, -3/+17Dugg for "Down Rodeo" by Rage Against The Machine in the ad before the review.
- nickert0n, on 04/29/2009, -1/+15It's only available on the PSN Store in North America. In Japan you can buy it on a BD.
- roseap, on 04/29/2009, -0/+13awesome... I want to get my twin boys shirts that say "Trial" and "Error"
- inactive, on 04/30/2009, -1/+13what the F! what the F dude! god damn you. i know you tried to give a warning, but you coulda done a better warning job than that!! you shoulda been more like:
DONT VIEW THIS!! NO MATTER WHAT THAT STUPID MORONIC VOICE IN YOUR HEAD SAYS. DO NOT VIEW IT FOR YOUR OWN SAKE.
that image will never leave. thanks. - MasterGrief, on 04/29/2009, -0/+10I know, I was thinking the same thing. I Googled it, and apparently some poor souls still try to raise their child the best they can, even if they're born like this and happen to survive. It's terrible! The parents don't deserve that, and neither do the children.
Sorry, I've kinda gone in a less than pleasant direction for a comment on a Zero Punctuation submission. - MasterGrief, on 04/29/2009, -2/+12I'm not "digging you down", I'm burying you. And I'm not burying you because you dislike the Playstation, I'm burying you because you can't spell "boy".
- megaton, on 04/29/2009, -2/+12Uh, no.
The whole game costs $40, OR you can buy individual chapters for a couple bucks each.
Also, it plays very much NOTHING like Resident Evil, zombies notwithstanding. - scyphozoa, on 04/29/2009, -4/+13Dugg for PowerPoint *****
- bondfreak05, on 04/29/2009, -0/+9LOST hasn't come on yet!
- TVarmy, on 04/29/2009, -0/+9I kinda liked the Resident Evil spoof that one guy did. Unskippable feels like MST3K without the charm, as if the show was made by a high school's anime club.
- NathanielJ, on 04/29/2009, -0/+9Did you miss the part where he said he reviewed it because he doesn't have the new Riddick game yet and there's ***** all new that has come out lately? He likes the survival horror genre, of course when he has to go back to fill in the gaps, he's going to do it with a horror game.
- Frostek, on 04/29/2009, -0/+9We'll be in touch... Next!
- hatdrop, on 04/29/2009, -0/+8the first siren on ps2 was awesome. the story is played like a giant *****, you do different scenarios from a 2-3 day time period out of chronological order (they do give you a timeline to let you know where you are), with a pretty decent sized cast of characters. sometimes you have to do stages without a weapon, taking specific actions in one scenario can impact someone else's scenario later on, the zombies can get back up after a short time period when you "kill" them and you have a special esp ability that lets you see from the perspective of the zombies, who can also use weapons like guns. kind of creepy and suspenseful cause it will briefly flash to their perspective when they spot you.
it's pretty heavy with the japanese occult, which is kind of interesting cause from what i recall the dubbing was in british. - Demus, on 04/29/2009, -8/+16To the front page!
- landosystem, on 04/29/2009, -3/+11Site down, did Digg kill The Escapist?
- Fishn2, on 04/29/2009, -0/+8Dugg for the monkey island reference.
- ukrainial, on 04/29/2009, -0/+7Wow not two hours ago I was studying this for my biological psyc final. I assumed I misread it the first time due to *priming* (rimshot). Now I just have to get my prof the get me extra credit for this post...
Also check out spinal bifida for the other side of the coin.
http://www.obgyn.net/us/gallery/OB_2_Abnormal_Spin ...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinal_bifida - threepio, on 04/29/2009, -7/+14This is the best XKCD ever!
- CoD4, on 04/29/2009, -6/+12I like the part where you kill zombies
- nebloof, on 04/29/2009, -0/+6I have this game. It's really great. I have the original game that was released a few years ago. It's very difficult, but a really great sand-box survival horror game. Siren: Blood Curse I feel improves on the original and it was a lot more fun to play.
- TheKitchenSinkX, on 04/29/2009, -0/+5Also, it's "bear."
- wontstoptalking, on 04/29/2009, -0/+5I have to say that I laughed almost to the point of tears when I heard ". . . had about the framerate of a powerpoint."
- WITFITS, on 04/29/2009, -0/+5I counted no less than 8 total ads for their Webby nomination. Tone it down a bit, Escapist, geeze:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/katokatonian/34863803 ... - ManUnitdFan, on 04/29/2009, -3/+8You, sir, are no binky.
- Pillage, on 04/29/2009, -4/+8Sorry Yahtzee but Ziggy says that in order for you to jump to a better game you've got to play a ***** survival horror game.
- Harabeck, on 04/29/2009, -0/+4Thus the name "Zero Punctuation"...
- MuffinPatrol, on 04/30/2009, -0/+4My comment doesn't make sense.
- Portside, on 04/30/2009, -0/+4Agreed. ZP is worthy of such an award, but The Escapist as a whole is not.
HINTHINT: If you're reading this, Yahtzee, you could probably make more money if you ditched the escapist and went solo. - gcauthon, on 04/29/2009, -1/+5Yeah, it's so much better than that other one!
- strictnein, on 04/29/2009, -0/+4God that's great.
