Beats having to upgrade my entire pc.
Went to play halo 3 last night... sat there and was "meh"... and this was after i spent 10 bucks for the map packs.
I dunno.. - mu0p, on 12/13/2007, -1/+13I've been playing ut3 since the beta and it's been an absolute blast. The game is gorgeous and i've never seen scaling in a game like that before. My hd3850, which i got for around $200 runs the game full blast at 1900x1200. I wish more devs concentrated on making their games run well on top of making it look pretty.

Game has been a total flop on the PC, and with that the sci-fi FPS genre has died. Digg me down but it's the truth, it's been a slow decline since Q3 / UT99.

* The ability to use keyboard/mouse
* The ability to install user generated content and levels
* No system worries about new video card drivers
* The ability to play on a screen probably much larger than your computer monitor
* Great graphics.
* Free online play
Unless you are actually going to be creating levels, what's not to like about getting it for the PS3? - dansmeek, on 12/13/2007, -2/+8epic says the voice chat is not working 100% and it will be patched. ditto with some menu items, the customizable mods, and they will "look into" adding split screen. game is still awesome. i'm glad everyone is enjoying it as much as i am

the kane and lynch scores were low across the board, so clearly advertising money didn't affect that. - MrSteamTank, on 12/13/2007, -1/+6From what I've read about Unreal 3 it seems to better(my opinion) for the ps3 than the computer. This isn't due to graphics but more due to gameplay speed. Unreal 3 apparantly is so fast on the PC it's an absolute twitch-fest. As much as I like Unreal 3 it's a little much for me in the speed department and the ps3 version is considerably slower.
I hope the 360 version comes out looking as nice as the ps3 version. It seems the delay is due to Epic hammering out details with Microsoft regarding live and online with Unreal 3. - BearinG, on 12/13/2007, -0/+5360 version you haven't tried
- MrPillowPants, on 12/13/2007, -0/+5 I wish we could all stop this console war *****. This game is great on the PC, and I played it on my friends PS3. It played well on that system also. It will come out on the 360, and it will probably play well on that system. I bought a 360 first because I liked the lineup it had coming out on it. I could give a ***** less about Halo 3, but I wanted Mass Effect, and Gears of War for it. Now I bought a Wii for it's titles, and the unique controls. I plan on getting a PS3, but there are no titles that make me run out to buy it. Yeah MGS4 is coming out, but I want to see a larger, and more artistic line-up like the PS2 had. Where are the Okami's, and the Shadow of the Colossus type titles.
