- S0ya, on 04/07/2009, -2/+37Cool list, but it didn't feature the one design concept that I like the most...

Really want one of these!! - d3c4y, on 04/07/2009, -2/+14Wow they did a good job making a PSP look like a 500 Error!
- frepnog, on 04/07/2009, -0/+8it is GREAT for playing ps1 classics on. plus, there are some great original games for it. see: killzone, resistance, god of war, upcoming little big planet, katamari, etc.
so yes,it is great for NES and SNES emu, but you are robbing yourself if you don't check out what else it can do. - defaultdigger, on 04/07/2009, -2/+9http://rorr.im/
- beatitlikeacop, on 04/07/2009, -1/+7129 Diggs and already down.
- leif777, on 04/07/2009, -2/+8I smell nerds.
- mentol, on 04/07/2009, -2/+7For the last year I've been an avid PSPer ... and that list is great.
- vtbarrera, on 04/07/2009, -3/+8I'm not the biggest fan of the PSP, but those are some pretty cool mods that I wouldn't mind owning.
- vat0r, on 04/07/2009, -1/+5I have one of the "phat" PSPs with the latest custom firmware. It's a thing of beauty. In my opinion much more practical and worth your investment then any of the mods shown in that article.
- danwallace, on 04/07/2009, -0/+4I can live without 400 pet simulators.
- Jaryd2006, on 04/07/2009, -0/+3Me. Want. NOW.
Thats a handheld I would buy day 1 just because it looks so damn cool. - skyfox2k, on 04/07/2009, -0/+3I prefer the UI mods :)
- PhonicUK, on 04/07/2009, -0/+3You've been able to do that for ages, you just gotta turn it on from the recovery menu.
- musikhersteller, on 04/07/2009, -1/+3I miss my PSP.
- jpeg91, on 04/07/2009, -3/+5This is very possible, the only problems would be the one screen and the lack of a touch screen, although a touch screen PSP has been made in the past. There are program for PSP that outputs the PSP's screen through USB, this could be re-written to output as a second screen and it's simple enougth to make a DS emulator for the PSP.
- NeoTechni, on 04/08/2009, -0/+2that design is horribly unergonomic
- veriix, on 04/07/2009, -1/+3look up
- larrimer7, on 04/07/2009, -1/+2No it isn't.
- JDLamb88, on 04/07/2009, -2/+3So sexy, too bad it's just a concept :(
- zzzpoohzzz, on 04/07/2009, -2/+3thats a ps2 controller not a ps3 controller in the "PSP Hack with the PS3 Dual Shock Controller"
- NeoTechni, on 04/08/2009, -0/+1i use mine to play awesome psp games and as a great portable media center
- NeoTechni, on 04/08/2009, -0/+1custom firmware from dark-alex.org
- NeoTechni, on 04/08/2009, -0/+1you wouldnt need 2 screens to display the DS's. just an equivalent or greater total resolution, which psp has.
psps resolution is large enough to even show ds's screens stretched/upscaled
the problem is processing power
and as for the touch screen, you could easily use one of the touchscreen mods, the psp cam and a laser pointer, a usb mouse, etc - NeoTechni, on 04/10/2009, -0/+1You need something in between the controller and the PS3 to convert it to something PSP can use
- Philbert, on 04/07/2009, -0/+1I think you can, it just sticks out a little.
- danwallace, on 04/07/2009, -0/+1Not to mention Remote Play. Probably the most-used feature of my PSP. However, considering eyefone's name, I doubt he'll pay any attention.
- 1ofMany, on 04/07/2009, -3/+3Wow, these are some of the worst looking mods I've seen in a LONG, LONG time. Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.
- BaconOclock, on 04/07/2009, -1/+1Check if the umd reader is broken and just replace it if you need to.
- everclear75, on 04/07/2009, -1/+1A co-worker gave me an old PSP (Model1001) that doesn't play the discs anymore. Can someone point in the right direction on how to mod this brick?
- BenKenobi88, on 04/07/2009, -1/+1Looks unbalanced...like it'd be hard to balance in your hands and still have your fingers comfortably on the buttons...meh.
- TheSkinsFactory, on 04/07/2009, -1/+1That would be nice if it was glossier and thinner. I really liked the tubular design from the site linked in the topic. With soft LED screen that can roll up.
- ZombieKiss, on 04/07/2009, -2/+2But can you mod a PSP Slim w/o a Pandora battery? That's something I'd REALLY like to see.
- Nohpex, on 04/07/2009, -1/+1... that makes me wonder. If you get a miniUSB to miniUSB cable would you be able to mod it so you could use a PS3 controller? I'm sure it would take a hell of a lot less work than that other monstrosity.
- IpwnZnoobs, on 04/08/2009, -1/+1Yo dawg I herd you like remote controllers so we put a remote on your remote so you can control your controls
- Elranzer, on 04/08/2009, -1/+1"No it isn't."
Oh really?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGBF9_ygqsE - veriix, on 04/07/2009, -2/+2The top of that d-pad looks very hard to use.
- EricAnderton, on 04/07/2009, -2/+2This looks like a job for Ben Heckendorn.
- NeoTechni, on 04/08/2009, -1/+1funny, 3 different review aggregation sites rate psps library as better than ds's and monumentally better than the wii's
- Elranzer, on 04/07/2009, -3/+2Actually it's "Magic Mirror on the Wall"
- CrimsonFlash, on 04/07/2009, -9/+8FTA:
Q. Like we saw the Dual Shock PSP mod above, this is another form which revisits blasphemy as well. It combines the SNES controller from Nintendo to be used as an external controller for the PSP from Sony. What is wrong with this picture?
A. The PSP. - mynameisyuv, on 04/07/2009, -2/+1some of them are very futuristic, Cool Item!
- Dohko_Xar, on 04/07/2009, -3/+2You have no clue what you're talking about.
- Xtremeleewyte, on 04/09/2009, -1/+0I wasn't too impressed with them....until I got to the Gameboy Pocket case mod!
I WANT!
And then some more of them towards the bottom, like the see-thru case.
Not sure if I'd play one that rolls up into a tube (first one) but I've seen that as the placeholder picture for the new PSP news that Kotaku runs, so I'm not sure if it can be considered a real "mod" or just a mock up prototype for a next-gen PSP. Still cool looking though - shagg187, on 04/07/2009, -2/+1Mirror mirror on the wall..
