    These are all well conceived and drawn, but they don't exactly seem to suit the theme...

    the comic book artwork is more well done. with stunning brush strokes and movements through out the pieces more of an artwork book than a comic book. no words are really needed in it.

  • Nealobus, on 06/08/2008, -0/+2Thanks for the heads up, radsprack! I love this style of artwork and it was one of the main reasons to pick up the PSP digital comic a few years back.

    This sketch style fits Snake more than the 'over the top' Marvel style seen in the link. I mean, that one with Snake putting a gun to that soldiers head is just ridiculously goofy.

    I was wondering; what other games, besides the MGS series, let's the main character grow older in such a distinct way? As far as I can tell Snake is way past 50 in MGS4.

  • DIAF, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they were trying to include artists that are not related to the game. Since Ashley was quite involved with the games, he doesnt count.

    regardless, I would rather see more ashley wood stuff than many of those standard comic book styles shown.
