- mikeyrock, on 08/23/2008, -19/+385Hey that's like $10 USD with current rates
- Retrodigg123, on 08/22/2008, -10/+306You guys take 1p too much for granted
In 10,000 bc, you could have created a real estate empire and still had change to go to the movies. - smacksaw, on 08/23/2008, -6/+242Yeah, but 1p is like 1 trillion Zimbabwean dollars. So that's a huge savings.
- chazuk, on 08/23/2008, -1/+216*****! I knew I should have waited...... :(
- darkchild82, on 08/22/2008, -13/+174W-O-W. I save .01p. Awe-some. Now I can make it through the rest of the month!
- nowsourcing, on 08/22/2008, -9/+150A penny for your Diggs.
- smartnerd666, on 08/23/2008, -2/+139As the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy taught us, you could put that 1p in a bank and at the end of time, due to compound interest, have enough money to pay for dinner.
- ironeus, on 08/22/2008, -15/+122Perhaps they're implying the value of the pound dropped.
- voze, on 08/23/2008, -6/+91Not that you'd ever want too again after watching that movie.
- simonjs, on 08/23/2008, -7/+92I don't mean to be pedantic but I will be anyway - it's £0.01 (.01p is one 100th of a penny!)
So you actually save a whole penny! You can make it through 100 months! - palewook, on 08/23/2008, -1/+63Amazon Special of the day: Buy 29998 PlayStation 3. Get the 29999 Playstation 3 Free!

- Rsulliv1, on 08/23/2008, -3/+34Some stores use the last digit to show the status of a sku. if it ends in "9", it's current. if it ends in "8", it's been discontinued.
- Cl1mh4224rd, on 08/23/2008, -1/+27> "W-O-W. I save .01p. Awe-some."

- martron3000, on 08/23/2008, -1/+9If everyone who commented here before me sent me just a measly $5.00, I could afford to buy a Playstation3.
So, how about it,Guys? - 0tis, on 08/23/2008, -6/+14^^ @ AndrePrior
1. That's not affordable, that's a ***** rip-off. So is the PS3.
2. Maybe. I have no experience of that.
3. Bollocks.
4. Neither does the PS3. I own a Wii, but we'll just say that one doesn't count for any of these (like you do in reason number 10).
5. ...And how much more do those accessories cost?
6. That's a lot of "good care" to take. How about just making something that doesn't randomly break on thousands of your customers?
7. I could be wrong, but I thought the PS3 did that too. Besides, some of us have these funny things called "DVD players". Crazy...
8. Maybe that has something to do with number 6.
9. See number 5.
10. Does that mean they sold more consoles? Only I don't give a *****. Good point otherwise, though. - the7thmagus, on 08/23/2008, -0/+8MY SCOUTER!
- bs0l, on 08/22/2008, -5/+13Blasphemy!
- CalcProgrammer1, on 08/23/2008, -0/+8I'm a 360 person too, but most of that is just nonsense. The hardware is definitely not as sturdy as a rock. Maybe a cardboard box, but not a rock. The RRoD is way too common on early model 360's. Oh, and the Wii doesn't count? Let's see, the Wii wiped the board on sales, it has been since its release. The 360 and PS3 are way behind Wii sales. Maybe the price cuts on the 360 and PS3 will help, but the Wii is still selling. Best library/developer support? I kinda agree, as the 360 has some great games (way more than the PS3 anyways) but Nintendo is also a good developer. Also, some good games are PC only. Overall, the 360 is a great system, but it isn't perfect. None of the current-gen consoles (sorry, they're not "next-gen" anymore, they've been out for over a year) are perfect.
- CaviMike, on 08/23/2008, -5/+13Was this ever funny?
- slowmotiony, on 08/23/2008, -1/+9I gave your mom some of my penny.
- magicmarc, on 08/23/2008, -0/+7Madness!
