- 3sicasity, on 10/12/2008, -1/+11i'd install several Gigs of memory if it meant i could have this game for my 360 :(
- Zamfir, on 10/12/2008, -1/+8Who cares?
- dansmeek, on 10/11/2008, -3/+9who cares. 600 mb?
I have a 500 GB hard drive. so 600 mb is like 0.10% of my entire hard drive.
it could take 6 GB if it wanted. I don't care. Siren (PSN surivival horror game) comes in chapters. So theoreticaclly you can delete the chapter you completed and install the next. That way it really takes up no more than 2 gigs at a time. But I have all 12 Chapters installed. And its about 8 gigs or more. And I don't care.
If you have a problem, buy a 500 GB hard drive for a little over $150. or a 250 gb for < 100. jeeeeeez.
It takes LITTERALLY about 3 minutes to install. Just make sure to have a GOOD phillips head screw driver. Because the screws strip easily. - TangentThought, on 10/12/2008, -0/+5How can he? The 360 doesn't even have its own official browser. And also... no hard drive problems here either. (250GB)
- Trat, on 10/11/2008, -2/+7Did you type that message on your 360 during the RROD? Looks weird. Anyway, we all have a HDD, so no problem.
- dansmeek, on 10/11/2008, -2/+7Also, for the sad attempt to whoever is trying to take away the momentum of the PS3 and this great game.... go ahead. complain about our install times. how we have to wait 1 minute as the game installs. its gonna suck when u wont be able to play this game and playing fable 2 or the newest FPS won't quite cut it... and you'll know it. And for perhaps just a brief moment, you'll wish you had a PS3.
I seriously own a 360 and I don't get it. It would be like me submitting a story that says "Too Human has load times, has no hard drive install possible." "Gears of War 2 has over 10 gigs 'cut' from the game so it can fit onto a DVD." etc etc. - RolltheStampede, on 10/12/2008, -1/+6thats all 600 mb. that great. MGS4 was like 3gb a chapter or something
- Ajajadude, on 10/12/2008, -0/+4Oh no! That represents a fraction of a percent of my HDD! What ever will I do?!?!
- apena89, on 10/12/2008, -0/+4Elliottx just got *****.
- TheWilder, on 10/12/2008, -2/+5With many PS3 games requiring installs upwards of 4-5GB of data, 600MB sounds nice. Although I hope developers learn to depend less on mandatory installs for those that don't want to purchase a larger hard drive.
- inactive, on 10/11/2008, -1/+4Oh well. That's not that much
- OneSevenSixNine, on 10/12/2008, -0/+2That's about a MB a day I will be playing this game in a row.
- eraser34, on 10/12/2008, -1/+2Heh, 600MB isnt a lot, but imagine the size of all the maps you create and download! If the game is as fun as it seems, I will have a whole lot of maps on my hard drive.
- kinseyincanada, on 10/12/2008, -2/+1i wonder how much a level take up, cause i can easily see myself downloading level after level, and those few with a 20GB hard drive could easily fill it up.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -3/+1"playing fable 2 or the newest FPS won't quite cut it... and you'll know it"
Fable 2 is going to be a great game, and none of your classroom antics can change that. Sure, I´ll play LBP if I had the chance, but I wouldn´t trade the 360 exclusives just so I could play the one game.
BTW, given your age, I believe you do not own a 360. - inactive, on 10/12/2008, -3/+1Oh grow up, will ya?
- Kbriggs, on 10/12/2008, -4/+2I saw an idea on digg a couple days ago that sounded great. If Sony would go ahead and release the install in the next PSN update people could then have the data installed when they came home from the store on Oct. 21 with LBP.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -4/+1Actually it should be "How can I? I don't even HAVE a 360"
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -5/+1Sorry but your argument doesn´t fly. The whole "install before play" basically defeats the purpose of having a games console.
What if every game starts requiring this? I mean come on, what is the point of having a Bluray drive (30gb)??
If we apply your "who cares" theory to the other side of the coin, it means that I shouldn´t bother to get a PS3 because then I will just spend even more money buying an external HD. And, looking forward, I may have to buy more HD drives so I can swap them whenever I want to play a game.
Way to go, Sony. - inactive, on 10/11/2008, -13/+1PS3 owners just got *****.
