If you have an official firmware PSP, you need a pandora battery and a magic memory stick. If you use a phat battery, you don't need to solder anythinng, but if you have a slim battery you do need to solder it. That's basically the really short version of it. Look up the guides if you need a more detailed explanation.

I'm updated and do not see anything wrong. Homebrew, UMD, ISO, and best of all I can play most of my PS1 games on the go. It's just too complicated and confusing to hunt through the forums for instructions for each one. So I figured I would just go to the official FW and start from scratch, but no one on the forums will tell me how or point me to a thread explaining it, they all just say "why would you want to?" and leave it at that. Bury me if you like but there needs to be a single place where you can go just to find the instructions. QJ.net has not been much help.

- craterburnsu, on 10/21/2008, -0/+1As i thought, no update to poploader. The PRX fix was not for poploader(the prx to load older POPS conversions), it was for a problem with the psemu code in general. 90% of older pops games will still not work.
