- Cheeseness, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd say so. IMHO, anything that's important to people is newsworthy (if not, it doesn't get dugg). I think one of the Narbacular Drop stories that was submitted around the time that the Portal video was released made front page, while the game itself was released a year or so ago.
It was my understanding that the "playable web games" topic was there to help weed the Flash based games out from the rest of the article submissions (much as the video category was put in to try to cut down how many video submissions were able to crowd out other stories) - and of course, make those things easier to find for those who're keen on them. - suicidal-kid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2But is it really "News?"
- Cheeseness, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Narbacular Drop is a pretty cool game, though it's very short and seems to have a few bugs. It was a student project that I think had a fairly short development cycle, so that's more than forgiveable.
Is this a "playable web game" though?
