Hey, how about everyone just stops forcing each other's beliefs down each other's throats, regardless of whether they are religious or not? - juanotejano, on 10/12/2007, -5/+108PLAYABLE web games my ass...
- lucid270, on 10/12/2007, -2/+65The WoW players would digg you down, but luckily they'll never read this.
- tech42er, on 10/12/2007, -3/+60Why not make the main link the game's site? And submit the video in the video's section? Dugg nonetheless.

- Ozzy73, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10That game has an amazing Sandbox. I have more fun with the sandbox than with the actual pong.

Wouldn't you have to exist in order to be on something? Speaking of which, what the ***** are you on? - saintdesy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Yeah, I really couldn't imagine how it would work, but it sounds awesome, doesn't it?
- dynatos, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8I basically stopped watching after the right side got owned 50 times... Tell me, did the right side ever score?
- pr1me4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6we've made it a long way in video entertainment since 1972
- ddxChrist, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Indeed. It's apparently much different from a Plasma Bong.
- RipponD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Yes, Plasma Pong! It's been out for a long time, but it is still fun and addicting. Try throwing something together in the sandbox.

- Ruhtar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7When I first read your post, I thought it said, "we played it during a fight once" and I was thinking, that's a novel way to solve an argument. :-()
- AnotherCanadian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I've been een playing for months and i think it's brilliant.
in sandbox:
turn on gravity
drop some ink at the top left corner for a gentle rotation
turn off gravity
use particles, middle click to fill the screen
turn on jello
use sink to suck up all the particles
release
turn off jello
and you get a crazy cool spinning vortex of particles. dont spin it too much though! try putting a wall in the way and watch the currents shift :) - AlexApetrei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I was expecting some cool huge plasma machine with super magnets and lasers.
but this will do. - ki85squared, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Next time:

This is a community, not a drunken fighting club. ;) - adragons, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Try the game first. After level 8 things get really interesting. The computer must be set on super easy or something in this video.
- natalvc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Someone please port this to the XBox!
- Nickerz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3LOL wrong digg fool! DO'H

- zleilndka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I have a 1.8ghz Athlon XP, nVidia 4200ti 128mb, 512 ddr, Windows XP, and it runs fine--45-60 fps. Pretty smooth overall.
- Ansible, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3If you like plasma pong, try Ichor, another game based on fluid dynamics.

- saintdesy, on 10/12/2007, -9/+11Oh! Plasma PONG, with a P. The only reason I clicked on the story is because I totally misread that...
- jazbek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2My boyfriend has this game on his laptop and we played it during a flight once.. it is great fun.
- Scyth3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2We've talked (Steve and I) on multiple occasions about a networkable version of the game. We've also talked to several professors who have higher knowledge of streams/graphical tcp-ip programming/etc. After talking with them -- it is possible to create a networkable version, however very gimped. The differences with cpu's, packet loss, and extreme amount of particles, and grid sizes are what makes this game near impossible to implement. If it were to be implemented, to handle random hardware accelerations and such -- there'd be a quite impressive "guessing" algorithm. However, the amount of guesses which would be needed per frame on the massive grids which is used, would make user motions seem very slow and therefore out-of-sync. Anyway, don't hold your breath on a networkable version of the game. Many more strides in networking need to be made before anything is going to be possible (and it'd be LAN only anyway).
- SharinganBob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i have a 32 mb nvidia, 384 mb ram, and 1.3 ghz p4 and it runs at 21 fps. Must be vista.
