  • gio92, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6The ??? is a force that will destroy and burn anything that is not organic. It wont destroy plant etc (i got that from the forum). Look on the website and download burning sand (you can create your own elements and program them)

    And that seed thing is awesome. It's beautiful to lay a bunch of seeds in some ground and watch the trees grow.

    It's ADDICTIVE. i.e. "This is an ADDICTIVE game." not "This game is "ADDICTING."

    The reason it's slow is 1) your PC is slow 2) it is written in java.

    It runs perfectly smooth on my PC (Athlon 64 3700+)

  • 1807, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Ya know, I've been seeing this sand game come up a lot. I remember when I saw it the first time I thought it was a cool idea. It kept me entertained for about an hour and I came back to the site a few times. Then, I saw the "they have people" version and that was kinda cool. I never came back to play it a second time. Now I see this one and I say Isn't this getting out of hand? Do we really need to post everytime the sand game get's an update?

  • j01101010, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0all it does is destroy everything it can. it cant destroy plants though, and it cant jump over them. so if you build a circle of plants and put the ??? in the middle it will expand to the edges and stop. otherwise it destroys everything.

    also ive played this before and i was disappointed that it wasnt really new.

    Addicting is one of the most overused words on digg. Every time someone posts a new web game, they inevitably call it addicting. Addict, the verb, means "to devote or surrender (oneself) to something habitually or obsessively." Now, I don't know about anyone else, but I played this sand game for about 5 minutes, and I most certainly did not devote myself to it habitually or obsessively. My point is, if you are going to use a word like addicting, at least mean what you say.
