- ElectricGrandpa, on 10/12/2007, -4/+23karmatic, dude. At least get some skill and recode a game that uses similar gameplay... Then you can make comments like the ones you're making. You DECOMPILED his code, changed a couple graphics and a couple variables... That's it. I know exactly how you did it. This is garbage... I can't believe you even went so far as to create a domain for it.
This is a disgusting money grab, you're just trying to get some adsense money. I suggest everyone mark this as spam or lame. - beezn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16how hard would an eraser be?
- Diggtatorship, on 10/12/2007, -4/+20Karmatic, You cant just go around copying and modifying other peoples work without thier permission. It doesnt work that way
- lilant, on 10/12/2007, -4/+20Did the original author approve of this?
- Alphabet, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I liked the original better. Crashes were bad, and you flip often, but you can do some insane stuff with it. It's not as fun to draw with, but much much more enjoyable to watch.
Like this guy:

This is not open source at all. This is theft. With open source, the author GIVES and ENCOURAGES you to change the code.
None of that happened here. - Bob042, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Aw.. I was hoping the cycle would be powered, but it still can't go up hills without starting momentum. Still fun to make a course without having to worry about the tiny bumps, but don't motorcycles have an engine?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13I don't blame karmatic because he did a great job. He fixed alot of the issues of the original version. What I recommend though is to link and give credit to the original line rider on your site.
- TenebrousX, on 10/12/2007, -7/+16oh nvm, bury me
- CrazyForSW, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12Great idea. My only complaint is the background - it needs to be a darker color, not white. You have no sense of when to stop drawing.
Also, here's the direct link: http://www.lineflyer.com/lineflyer.swf - chulium, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Agreed.... it's just not the same...
- AtomicCow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Yup and based on stolen LineRider code.

Haha, the worst possible comparison I have ever heard. You should of at least mentioned the original author, but you went as far as putting up adsense and trying to score some money from a slight modification of a flash game you didn't make. - herro, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5bad idea stealing the code someone else worked hard to write man. a shame too, this could have been fun if the orginal author worked on it. instead it just looks terrible.

He should have either just sent his suggestions to the original author(line rider was but a beta, after all). If he really needed to copy it so much, he should have recreated a similar game from scratch, not just decompiled the original line rider. - cookiebearo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4he also tried to do a pixel sale site:
http://www.free-press-release.com/news/200601/1136506086.html
it's not up anymore, that idea must have fallen through also ;o
i guess he's just really into copying other peoples ideas :/ - washingtonydc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4it's too easy...so not as much fun.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4ill be totally pissed if i was the original author... not even a " THANKS FOR THE CODE! "
- cookiebearo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5so you decided to try to make a quick buck by stealing someone else's work, changing the name, and dumping google adsense all over the page
unfortunately it doesn't work that way and you've already been buried for being an idiot, wasted money on a domain name, and i'm personally writing google adsense an email making sure you don't recieve any credit
congrats, try a little harder next time - cookiebearo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3this is the guy who made it's (the rip off, not the original) myspace profile

enjoy - jknevitt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Whoa. He looks bad-ass. I'm kinda scared now. ;)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Dude, at least credit ~fsk and link back to the original page. Are you the sort of guy who copies an article from Wikipedia, changes a couple words, and submits it to your prof as your own essay? Sure, your changes may have a little substance, but you still HARDLY DID ANY OF THE WORK. I hope you approach your engineering studies with more integrity than this.
- cybe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3a game called elastomania was first
- MattyLite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It's like line rider . . . only *****! Oh yea, and a knock-off.
- ElectricGrandpa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Anyone who likes games like this should really be playing Armadillo Run(www.armadillorun.com). It's an AMAZING game... Basically it's like "The Incredible Machine" except totally freeform.
- chulium, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4At least I *asked* the author of Line Rider to make something regarding it. (An official fan site)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5I didn't make Line Flyer, somebody else did. I just came accross it and thought some of you might enjoy it.
Second, you all missed my sarcasm and my point: Line Rider was a success and there are going to be immitations... true this is a bit direct... but nonetheless, unless Line Rider evolves, people will pick up where the original creator left off. And again, I was sarcastic... I have nothing to gain from Line Flyer, Rider, and or any other web games... - RudMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2LineFlyer/Rider needs two things. An eraser and a way to make simple circles and lines a-la mspaint.
- rspeed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You can't go backwards...
- Nick22, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3is it just me or is this the extact same as line rider....but with a different graphic
- merreborn, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4I prefer it, personally. My main complaint about line rider was that it was too damn easy to crash. It's *much* harder to crash in this version.
- ElectricGrandpa, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5"You are sounding just like those RIAA people. What's wrong with taking an idea and improving upon it? I say give the guy a chance to give the original some credit. It's called Open Source."
You sir, are an idiot. Do you even know what the word "Open" in "Open Source" means? This is not publicly released code. This is a decompiled swf that's had a couple graphics and a couple numbers changed. That's it. "taking an idea and improving upon it": Ha! Maybe if all he had taken was the idea... Not only is the original author not linked to, but he isn't even *mentioned*. Again, this is utter garbage, and I can't believe this is getting dugg at all. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Does seem pretty cool
- elitexero, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2If you acually bother playing line rider for at least 15 minutes, it becomes easy. Screw the ripoffs, line rider still stands as the best.
- mrtruffle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Why does this ***** (which is a copy of someonmes original idea still get Dugg? Remove it and lets not waste any more time with this crap.
- HaxGamerX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0god...a good track?...well...you could make him go down hill alot...and um well add other things...i have a track ball so everything i do sorta bombs...
- magevampjoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think this is good. But motorcycles have engines don't they?
Anyway, I disagree with most people here. I think that games that are released free and without being commercialised are bound to be mucked around with.
Think about Pacman or Space Invaders. HOw many billions of releases of these have been made. People copy them all the time. It's fun to do so. Any Pacman has a (c) licence (originally to atari, dunno who owns it now). Just leave him alone with that. If he wants to edit games, let him, I know I'M behind him. I've edited games like SMW for snes, and program my own games. In fact, I program for commercial, but if somebody edits it, so what! I'll just make mine better.
If FSK actually cared, he would be here himself saying this. Is he? NO.
I fully support edits.
Laters - lewvid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its a wiked game.
- lead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cuz that would b good to c if u lot can make good track

- exzaltid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't think that you should be posting personal information for this guy on this site. That's not cool at all. Frankly I would be pissed if someone posted my personal site on here.
- sathe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What a dodgy piece of #$%#~!!! you are...
I seriously hope ~fsk has legal rights to sue your a$$ and redeem any money you have earn't stealing DRIECTLY from him...
To be Honest my jaw dropped when i saw your shi##ty Page.
True example of how poor some people are. - lead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is rubish there is no skill needed to make a good track if u can make a good track on this than thats skill

its the original line rider - Hoffmanx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I am unsure, this could just be my computer, but when i try to go to www.lineflyer.com by way of google or proxy or just URL it give me the message "www.lineflyer.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again." so i think we got justice here boys/girls, his site is down, although the google link to it is still up...
- lead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sorry i didnt mean to put 2 ov them just i cliked it twice cuz this computer is sooo slow
- exzaltid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ummm he didn't make the game, read the previous comments IDIOT!
- exzaltid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0again, the author of this post didn't create lineflyer, read the previous posts.
- exzaltid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Taking code from a site is one thing but starting another website with the same idea isn't a bad thing, youtube metacafe videojug, google video, supporttube.com ? All the same idea right? and maybe your just jealous that you didn't think of it first HAHAHHAA
