- inactive, on 10/29/2007, -0/+44You can win without compromising. I played this game about a year ago, and set up a hormone-free, non-intrusive cattle operation as well as non-GM crops with a management strategy of using health awareness and employee benefits to keep everyone off my back. I got to the point where I was making infinite money in a nearly hands-free operation where all I had to do was make sure there weren't sick cows. It took a while to figure out the game, though.
I don't think that was the intention of the designer though, you probably aren't supposed to succeed without being evil. - suprememilo, on 10/18/2007, -5/+30How is a $.99 Double Cheeseburger corrupt?
- fisj139, on 10/29/2007, -1/+26If you play long enough you unlock a character who has to get triple bypass surgery
- thethorn, on 10/29/2007, -1/+21No BS link: http://www.mcvideogame.com/index-eng.html
- suxmonkey, on 10/16/2007, -4/+24I did a search for it and it didn't come up in the archives. If you're going to call 'dupe' you might want to link to the original. Just a thought.
- thetanbark, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15Anybody else click on this thinking it would be McKids for NES?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.C._Kids - dagr8tim, on 10/16/2007, -1/+15This was on digg about 6 months ago. I'm just too lazy to go search for it.
*not* buried - weeeezzll, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11Ok, so after playing a bit more I guess that is glaringly obvious. I suppose I commented a little prematurely...
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -1/+9Make a walkthrough.
- edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I still boycott them. They haven't changed their ways, they've just added a few new choices to their menu.
- gopher043, on 10/29/2007, -2/+9thanks Capt. Obvious.
- themastersb, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9I never realized how hard McDonalds had it. I should respect them more and eat their food more often.
- Regulator980, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7For anyone that wanted that intro song, here ya go!
http://ia300120.us.archive.org/1/items/nt066/nt066 ... - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6My old Economics high school teacher would actually use this game. Everyone in the class had to play it, and at the end of the semester, whoever raised the most money won.
- merreborn, on 10/29/2007, -2/+8"I played this game about a year ago"
Yeah, pretty sure that was the last time it made the front page on digg. - Woah_G!, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7I need cheats
- conbot, on 10/16/2007, -0/+6That's old news. This game is from a couple of years ago.
- spawnfree, on 10/15/2007, -0/+5instant dissmisal for spitting in the burgers.
- locodude711, on 10/10/2007, -4/+9This game is seriously older than the universe I think.
- weeeezzll, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Can't be officially part of McDonalds. Check out this quote from the game:
"If we had to rear all the cattle we need in our part of the world, our cities would drown in an ocean of cow *****." - Supadude, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6This game is hard
- Render, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Wait, how old is this?
- Darrelc, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4How did you do that then? Im bloody stuck.
- purple, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Sell the land, and wait for the fertility to go up.
- colin409, on 10/20/2007, -5/+8Interesting and odd
- giid, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4grow less soy I think....
- TotalHalibut, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4McDonald's, were it not big into cutting down rainforests for cheap cattlegrounds, is a good way to enforce a little social Darwinism on people. If you eat like crap, you'll look like crap.
- edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3grrr, mobuzz does not let you do a search for content in thier archieves. Well, here's a reference to the game dating back to april of 2006
http://del.icio.us/popular/mcdonalds?editdesc - objectcode, on 10/16/2007, -2/+4if you dont get fat eating mcdonalds everyday in this game, its not a real mcdonalds game
- canUdi9it, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3This game shows why managed economies don't work.
- neshcom, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Buried for old, tedious, and overall boring game.
- ericrous, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2...and you are DEFINITELY an *****.
- edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I know I saw it on buzz like a year ago. I actually have a flash version of this on my computer.
- ericrous, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3As opposed to a hairy vegan that doesn't bathe? Yeah, because THOSE guys look like supermodels.
- hunchback, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1thats the part i hate most about this game, and you have to eye ball them ... tedious (otherwise what a fun game, they dont really feed cows industrial waste do they?)
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I made over $1,000,000 before I realized there's actually no end and got bored. You ruined all your land there... you need to sell it and move the cows elsewhere, letting it become fertile again.
- edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I like it when I pave the rainforests and bribe the mayor of the village so I can starve the people of the town!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1If you played the game a year ago,
1. Why the ***** are you here telling us about it here when you have a life to live ?
2. Why are you playing it again and then reporting back to us to tell us how well you did?
***** me, not all of us live on Digg 24/7 you know. - edwartica, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I meant Mobuzz tv btw.
- romulusnr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Best advice:
1. Build 4 soy fields and 2-3 pasture (maybe 4).
2. Hire one line cook and one cashier (to start)
3. Activate Food Pyramid.
Sit back and ride the initial financial rollercoaster (which is trending upwards) until you are out of the red. After a few iterations the detractors and board members will be happy more or less.
Don't over hire, because you will have to do some firing, and the more firing you do, the more you piss off labor. Give everyone a badge, they're free. Hire/fire line cooks at the same rate as cashiers.
That's the "best" you can do. The game is stacked against you; the investors will get bored of the slow growth. And despite the fact that I used completely "organic" practices, I eventually got dinged by health interests for making people fat. - CCmachined, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1nice video... "this game is such a ***** of *****" lmao!
how DO you complete the last stage? - ericrous, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It would still be better than drowning in an ocean of vegetarian smugness.
- bigjoeportagee, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1how many people made it past the first day? (or is that just me, and by day i mean 10 minutes)
- lhughey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1still cant beat Sneak King!
- ericrous, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Pick on McD's all you want. BUT LEAVE BURGER KING ALONE!!!
- qruqid, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2there was one for the Genesis also
it was pretty good guess they felt bad about corrupting our youth so it was about cleaning up the planet
http://www.genesiscollective.com/ShowPage.php?Game ... - riverstyx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Full Cistern..That's your food. You need to cut back on food crops and increase your cattle supply so they eat it all.
- CrushThemTorg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1M.C. Kids, vies only with Rad Racer for best NES music ever. And it was a damn fun game. Except for that stupid ice level.
- FucangLong, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Whats your high score? Mines 500,000.
http://i23.tinypic.com/29wl2ja.png - DoobieWheel, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1You do realize the food pyramid is there to dupe people into thinking that Mc Donalds is healthy? Apart from that, good show sir
