      In fact, this site, was down after ~30 diggs. I think the only reason it has 362 at this point is because of the over use of buzzwords in the title:

      "has it all."
      and everyone wants to check it out later.

      Digg is not a bookmarking service. Put it on del.icio.us or something with a "temp" tag.

I saw this on digg, why not use digg to bookmark it. One less site I have to remember to visit. By the way, I didn't digg it because of "ADDICTIVE" or "Web 2.0" I dugg it because the description. I happen to like playing games on the web, and this one sounds interesting. Maybe it won't be as interesting as I think, so maybe I'll undigg it once I see it. Don't assume everyone diggs something for one reason and one reason only.

If he can get it up again i think it will help alot of the balance issues that were going on for me last night, to many high level guys killing me just cause there wasnt anyone else heh impossible to make any money. fun tho.

    i hope this is something like digg, with each posters icons looking like Mii's of themself.

    If they post something stupid, and someone diggs them down, then the Mii gets abused & changed to having a black eye or bloody lip. Really awful people eventually get bloody stumps.
    If they are dugg up, they get a hat, or a tiara, or a crown or a cape... little accessories.

    It's probably much more fun than this, but I'm currently imagining that guy near the top that advertised his myspace (I have him blocked now, so I don't remember the name) looking similar to the guy in Sin City... nothing but stumps...

      Some command descriptions to give you an idea of the game:
      You will say whatever follows "say". Example: "say Hello World!"
      You will strike at whoever you name after this command. Example: "hit synapz". Newbies can "hit rat" to train and get gold.
      This will tell you who is online, and also give you a good idea of who you can and cannot attack.
      This will list your skill levels.
      You will buy an item, if you can afford it. Example: "buy white shield"
      You will do whatever follows ":". Example ": laughs at everyone!"

    • Inverno, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, the last letter in MUD stands for Dungeon. It's just one room, that you can't look around in. It's a broken MUD.

      However the gameplay isn't that bad. You need to simultaneously level (easiest via PK) and collect money for equipment upgrades. Periodically the higher levels 'farm' the lower levels for cash, but only within a set level range. It's an interesting game, but not an MMO or Web 2.0.

There are quite a lot of the old muds still going strong (or kinda strong:-). My favorite is Viking Mud, a mud running in Norway - you can play it "on the web" if you want to.
