    Because they are lazy. And if something only works in IE, then odds are it isn't W3C compliant, and the poor code makes it look like ass/not work in other browsers.

  • palehorse864, on 09/08/2008, -1/+3Darn, the C64 site doesn't have River Raid or Jumpman. It still has a ton of cool stuff though, but those two games were easily some of the greatest I had played at the time, and jumpman still holds up.

While the hatred of IE continues (since it was never updated for the Mac beyond 5.5 and my work machine is so locked down I couldn't choose another one anyway), would it be so bad to use to try some of these games? Is there a reason why they went IE only (toward some of the geekier diggers)?

    Lastly, have any Windows users tried this yet with Safari for Windows?

    We were discussing this at the office and agreed that it got super frustrating, especially when you know you were going to get a bullet ini the ass while in the elevator and could do jack about it.
