- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -1/+10i'm glad this made the front page... the 4th time it was submitted. its a really good story but it didnt get very many diggs the first 3 times it was submitted. this is the kind of stuff that should be on digg more often. less pictures of dogs peeing on laptops...
- TMTurtle, on 12/01/2008, -1/+8This list is missing the Homeward Bound movies.

A really nice and informative post. I never thought that the bodies of these animal undergo so mangy biological changes as they migrate from one place to another. This is a Nature's gift denied to humans though
Thanks for the sub,

- TheRealDeuce, on 12/01/2008, -1/+6Humpback whales have been known to travel hundreds of years into the future to raise families.

- spepin, on 12/01/2008, -1/+5It's funny how we'll complain having to walk twenty minutes to get to the store, or something like that.
- say592, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3Im disappointed. I was hoping this was going to be about cats that sneak onto ships bound for international waters, or pet parrots who are found hundreds of miles away from their home.
Not lame ***** about whales and stuff. - nightofbogie, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3first of all, posted by kaiserarmy...thats provocative
second of all, i my friend and i thought this was going to be animal journies like nimo, milo and otis, homeward bound, land before time etc. - DforSpiD, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3Yeah me too, I expected it to be number 1 actually...

- 610dean, on 11/30/2008, -1/+4Don't we all travel on extraordinary and often mysterious expeditions to find good meals and sexy mates?
- Discobiscuits, on 12/01/2008, -1/+4Dugg for that badass gallery navigation.
- impresently, on 12/01/2008, -1/+4I'm surprised to not see the Arctic Tern, the modest sized bird that travels from pole to pole and then back again once a year to follow the summer sun.
- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3It's one of my all time favorite films. It also happens to be the most incredible animal journey of all time, despite being fiction.
- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2id travel back... theres not much left in the future for whales.
- TalkGibberish, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Im still creeped out from that stupid Porcupine...
- davidsmero, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Milo and Otis is the *****. Best movie ever made.

Birds Fly More Than 7,000 Miles Nonstop
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/artic ... - TVarmy, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Yeah, about that. In the future, did they take care of the pollution and so on for the whales? Or were they to just figure it out themselves?
- kyleisntwild, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2toughest journey of all: man into woman

Seman 2: I dont know but I think we just passed the tonsils! - inactive, on 12/01/2008, -2/+3Their picture of a salmon looks suspiciously like a brown trout.
- THETEH, on 12/01/2008, -2/+3One time, a spider crawled the entire length of my desk without me squashing him. It wasn't quite as incredible a journey as some of these, but I still thought it was kind of inspiring.
- beauley, on 12/01/2008, -0/+1Speaking of images...
