- youngtillidie, on 02/22/2008, -2/+69stop looking at me swan.
- theotheragentm, on 02/22/2008, -4/+37Aaaaaaaflaaaaaaaaaaac!
- Godlike, on 02/22/2008, -0/+23You have no idea how right you are... swans are violent, easily provoked and excrete liquid evil instead of tears. The only way to defend yourself is to grab it by the neck and hurl it which will very rarely damage it in any way because they are actually made of jagged shards saturated with death that are hewn cold from the bones of the stillborn.
- Akaji, on 02/22/2008, -0/+22Replace "LOL" with "NOM"
- Vindexus, on 02/22/2008, -3/+23SSHHHOOOOOOTTTTT HHHEEEEERRRRRR!!!
- BuddyDoQ, on 02/22/2008, -0/+18Try to imagine yourself at the park, and you get a look at this "bread-eater" as you near the pond. He moves like a bird, lightly, bobbing his head. And you keep still because you think that maybe his visual acuity is based on movement like Swan, he'll lose you if you don't move. But no, not Duck. You stare at him, and he just stares right back. And that's when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the side, from the other two ducks you didn't even know were there. Because Duck's a pack hunter, you see, he uses coordinated attack patterns and he is out in force today. And he pecks at you with this... a six-inch bill, like a razor, on the the head. He doesn't bother to bite your jugular like a lion, say... no no. He pecks at you here... or here... or maybe across the belly, spilling your intestines. The point is... you are alive when they start to eat you. So you know... try to show a little respect.
- inactive, on 02/22/2008, -1/+15And this is what you see when you die.

- brainpan, on 02/22/2008, -3/+10Keep absolutely still... it's vision is based on movement
- nukemunky, on 02/22/2008, -0/+6Why are you getting dugg down for quoting from Jurassic Park?

The Swan. - JezusGhoti, on 02/22/2008, -0/+6It's hard to believe how consistently bad the comments for this picture are.
- Godlike, on 02/22/2008, -0/+4Today?
Do you know why there are Canadian geese at every office park in North America, but not swans? It's because swans are ferociously territorial and are strong enough to bite your fingers off with a lunge from 5+ feet away. - Godlike, on 02/22/2008, -1/+5CHIIIILIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSS BABY BACK SWANS
- RealmDown, on 02/22/2008, -1/+5Mmmmmm...... Macosaurus and cheese........

Also, I hate swans. - inactive, on 02/22/2008, -0/+3This a swan, not a duck.
- Godlike, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2Well I don't know how you swan-tamers came to be, but you wield a great and terrible power if you can domesticate those ***** beasts.
- scrimaxinc, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2UH...UH...UH.....You didn't say the magic word.....UH....UH....UH.....
- Dark1Knight, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2Not true for the swan-chokeslamming guy...
- dxgg, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2This is the missing link between birds and dinosaurs, I assume?
- MattB123, on 02/22/2008, -2/+4Swans are evil. I've been attacked a couple of times.
But a fantastic photo. Kudos (with chocolate chips) to the photographer! - unusualbob, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2THANKS FOR TYPING IN ALL CAPS AND NOT ACTUALLY CONTRIBUTING ANYTHING TO THESE COMMENTS
- SilverBack101, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1Nothing can beat Jesusauras Rex...and Mountain Dew is the greatest drink ever.
- fwertz, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1Strobo-swan mayb.
- wesw02, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1Jakovasaurs, what?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jakovasaurs - amoona, on 06/05/2008, -0/+1Swans are mean, nasty, and vicious little beast!
http://www.dreaminguy.com - Lanefair, on 02/22/2008, -3/+4I've been bitten by one of them, sharp serrated beaks. Also they're quite scary when they surround your boat looking for food. Cause you're at eye level with them. They could eat your eye in a second.
- smrekar, on 02/22/2008, -1/+2This will help you jump the great boa.
- rurounikengyrl, on 02/23/2008, -0/+1i wonder how long the photographer provoked the swan just so that he could take it's picture like this?
- TheKoopaBros, on 02/24/2008, -0/+1That is so....surreal. o.o
- silencerider151, on 02/22/2008, -1/+2Right before you crap your pants.
- sparrow, on 02/22/2008, -2/+3Swans scared the crap out of me when I was younger. But then, we had some vicious swans in my town.
- allahuakbar, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1Wow, imagine that 30 ft. tall!
- pardonmedoug, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1What are you insinuating?
No, really--what? - djvchris, on 02/22/2008, -5/+6Yet another reason to hate ballets.
- wankelrotary, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1Swans are beautiful, but they are INCREDIBLY crabby, territorial and aggressive.
- chuck0supatruck, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1you should check out the rest of the artists photo's purely amazing
- amoona, on 06/17/2008, -0/+1Just give its baby back!!

- blakeage, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1I will bitch slap a swan if it comes near me
- hfactor, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1Do you have different swans from our European ones? Because 5-year-olds are chasing and/or feeding them in every park and at every river around here and they rarely ever attack. Even if you annoy them, they usually prefer to flee.
- Carlsen, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1A Strobist on Digg, thats bloody awesome.
- taketheleap, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1oh my god, its coming right at us!
