- ScottooMc, on 02/27/2008, -43/+13Sharks must be democrats. They try to eat their own kind.
- Radical5, on 02/27/2008, -14/+1It's called cannibal.
- n3demonic, on 02/27/2008, -7/+12Both of you are idiots. Digg me down too
- ScottooMc, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Hell Ill give you a digg. People like you are the reason I make posts like that.
- n3demonic, on 02/27/2008, -7/+12Both of you are idiots. Digg me down too
- anillop, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2Wait what?
- Charlotte_Web, on 02/27/2008, -2/+1Come here, I'm gonna eat ya! I'm bigger than you, I'm higher on the food chain.
GET IN MY BELLY!
I want some baby back, baby back, baby back...
- Radical5, on 02/27/2008, -14/+1It's called cannibal.
- HollowMarkeD, on 02/27/2008, -18/+4Sharks really are vicious bastards.
- PabloMac, on 02/27/2008, -4/+1Sharks can't get married, but Massachusetts is working on that.
- heliox, on 02/27/2008, -2/+2That's why most are lawyers.
- xauckyite, on 02/27/2008, -21/+3democratic sharks LOL LOL
- FriedGeek, on 02/27/2008, -2/+64Awww they were just playing.
- Reedan, on 02/27/2008, -1/+24It's all fun and games until someone gets digested.
- joeallam, on 02/27/2008, -1/+2"Pretend to eat me, then I'll pretend to eat you, ok?" (aside)"ha! dumbass."
- rurounikengyrl, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2or maybe the little shark was stuck?
- Reedan, on 02/27/2008, -1/+24It's all fun and games until someone gets digested.
- dema, on 02/27/2008, -13/+9What about a mall?
- jnnycakes, on 02/27/2008, -0/+13Underwater Adventures is in the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.
- omnibahumut, on 02/27/2008, -3/+3So while we're in the process of broadening the setting of where this actually took place, lets say it took place, lets just say that there's a shark fight in a land-locked state.
The fact that the Aquarium is in a mall has no significance to the story, yet the way the title is written, you are led to believe it is.- mspiels, on 02/27/2008, -2/+2Anal much?
- aluminumpork, on 02/27/2008, -0/+4Not to be SUPER anal, but since much of Northeastern Minnesota is bordered by Lake Superior, the state is connected to the North Atlanta Ocean via the St.Lawrence Seaway.
- omnibahumut, on 02/27/2008, -3/+3So while we're in the process of broadening the setting of where this actually took place, lets say it took place, lets just say that there's a shark fight in a land-locked state.
- jnnycakes, on 02/27/2008, -0/+13Underwater Adventures is in the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.
- Radical5, on 02/27/2008, -9/+2I wouldn't want to be that little shark.
- drgmdp, on 02/27/2008, -0/+3no *****, really?
- Jenadae, on 02/27/2008, -5/+1Oh, so thats how that works....
- h3lx, on 02/27/2008, -2/+42You know you're paying too much rent when the landlord decides to put in an aquarium and fill it with sharks.
- algo, on 02/27/2008, -3/+19stupid youtube comments, 'oh what if it broke through the glass' not realising that the weight of the actual water is much more than the shark could produce. cool aquarium btw.
- reaper527, on 02/27/2008, -0/+15youtube comments are from people around age 12, did you really expect intelligent responses?
- antdude, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2Kind of like here sometimes. ;)
- taffyhealscrowd, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Yeah, I know, people can post the most inane comments on the web sometimes...
- MaskedSlacker, on 02/27/2008, -0/+3While this is true, your forget that if the shark rammed the glass, the force would be that of the the shark plus the water. Of course, you're still correct, I'm just being an ass.
- tightscrummy, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2Thankfully we're on digg, the bastion of intellectualism.
- reaper527, on 02/27/2008, -0/+15youtube comments are from people around age 12, did you really expect intelligent responses?
- kolinkoolface2, on 02/27/2008, -11/+2uhh not that cool.
- Conwaysb0718, on 02/27/2008, -2/+11at the end we can clearly see that the small one was just biding his time til he could make his move...
- brambley, on 02/27/2008, -15/+7ok, shark vs. shark is a terrible name for this. LAME. BURIED.
- Dahoove, on 02/27/2008, -8/+1Unless this is the 2nd time this has happened this story has to be over a month old.
- bendeboy, on 02/27/2008, -10/+4I would have much rather been rick rolled
- Drgn547, on 02/27/2008, -14/+1The little shark is the ideals of true Conservative Republicans, and the big shark is John McCain, thrashing and tearing them in his aggressive, warmongering chops.
- isaactwito, on 02/27/2008, -6/+1Not so much shark vs shark as it is shark eating shark. Then again, it is a pretty unfair fight.
- zeroroth, on 02/27/2008, -9/+1Two sharks one cup?
- illegalcortex, on 02/27/2008, -1/+18I am absolutely not joking when I say that the local news covered this under the tagline "Shark Attack." Of course, then they waited until at least halfway through the broadcast to tell you the real (lame) story.
The aquarium is pretty cool, though. Best thing about the Mall of America (though that's not saying much). A little pricey, however.- withremote, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Was that Fox 9? I'll bet Robin Robinson was shaking in her booties.
- rurounikengyrl, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1that's how they always get you.
- punch, on 02/27/2008, -1/+7A guy on our local car forum worked there as a diver, he imported the shark that's in the other sharks mouth. He made a thread about it basically saying the aquarium is going down hill. This happened at Underwater World at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.
http://tcstangs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65676&h ...- zionKing, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1This guy's points would make more sense if he could describe how this incident was the result of the aquarium's mismanagement rather than just claiming the place has gone down hill since he's not working there any more. As is, he just sounds like a pissed off former employee. For all I know, sharks may sometimes eat smaller sharks.
- Avaseal, on 02/27/2008, -9/+1Buried for title inaccuracy.
- anyone4apint, on 02/27/2008, -3/+3A killer whale could beat the crap out of a shark anyway. I want to see a killer whale munching on jaws, that's proper aquarium entertainment.
- ComradeGoby, on 02/27/2008, -0/+3A killer whale is probably a lot more intelligent also.
- Nevarius, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2probably, since a killer whale is actually the largest member of the dolphin family.
- ComradeGoby, on 02/27/2008, -0/+3A killer whale is probably a lot more intelligent also.
- Pinkertinkle, on 02/27/2008, -3/+1That big one musta been in a good mood to not have chomped the little one in half.
- drgnflyblu5, on 02/27/2008, -2/+1Thats just Dora trying to save Nemo
- aces2009, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Dory is the name of the fish in finding Nemo, not Dora. God, don't you watch Disney movies?
- ElbertF, on 02/27/2008, -6/+1Retarded comments, I buried you all.
- nerdherder, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1It bothers the hell out of me when I go to the comments of a story and all but a couple comments are dugg way down.
- xtmno3, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1If they all suck, it is justified. As is the case with about 90% of them so far on this.
- nerdherder, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1It bothers the hell out of me when I go to the comments of a story and all but a couple comments are dugg way down.

- MikeinLoFi, on 02/27/2008, -0/+9what mall has a ***** aquarium?
- Mr.Gone, on 02/27/2008, -0/+8The Mall of America in Bloomington. I live right across from it. If you go there everyday it gets old fast.
- elegantjihad, on 02/27/2008, -4/+0I live within 10 minutes of the MoA, I had free passes to Underwater Adventure, and I never thought about taking it up. It's really sad how terrible the aquarium is.
- rmw132, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2The Mall of ***** America.
- mukyboy, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1The same mall that has a wedding chapel and a high school
- tightscrummy, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1This one apparently.
- aces2009, on 02/27/2008, -2/+0the Eastwood Mall in Niles, OH has an aquarium in it, though it is not as big as this one.
- 0crabby0, on 02/27/2008, -3/+1Sandtiger's will eat anything...
- reivax76, on 02/27/2008, -0/+7That's where my fiance' works - it's in the Mall of America. A little boy actually noticed it happening first - he asked if it was feeding time for the sharks, the handler said "No, why" and the little boy pointed to the shark.
Business surged for the next 2 weeks hehe.
It's actually a pretty cool aquarium, though the coolest parts are the behind the scene stuff - they have huge bags of stuff to condition the water called "Instant Ocean"- SPRFRKR, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Pretty cool. "Instant Ocean" is just synthetic sea salt though. All aquiriums use it for salt water tanks.
http://www.instantocean.com/ - Matrix_Prime, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2isn't that the same stuff that comes with Sea Monkeys?
- SPRFRKR, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Pretty cool. "Instant Ocean" is just synthetic sea salt though. All aquiriums use it for salt water tanks.
- cptpike, on 02/27/2008, -2/+2I like how everyone taking pictures was using a flash. Wouldn't that just reflect off the plexi and give a complete white or washed out image? Maybe I'm wrong. Oh and the one guy with the red eye reduction.
- synned, on 02/27/2008, -1/+18Fish are friends, NOT food. Little shark, just keep swimming...just keep swimming.
- artish, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2God, I can't watch this video longer than 10 seconds.
Sharks creep the ***** out of me. - artwithbyte, on 02/27/2008, -0/+10I like how the big shark wasn't chomping down. It was more like, "Hello!? Somebody want to get this little shark out of my mouth so I can get on with my life?!?"
- BuckCynnie, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Aw that was so cute, a mommy shark caring its young...
- Rendonsmug, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Shark vs Shark? I think not! I didn't see a single laser beam.
- undershirt, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Shark vs. Lion:
http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id= ... - mercury187, on 02/27/2008, -1/+2all the idiots using their flash, people really need to learn how to best use their cameras.
- joeallam, on 02/27/2008, -1/+0I thought this as well, i was thinking turn off the flash!! thinking it was people with regular compact cameras, then I see a guy with DSLR and Flashgun. HE should know better. Flash reflects of glass guys.
- drgmdp, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1you know what happens when a ray hits a curve reflective surface from a non perpendicular angle?
- joeallam, on 02/27/2008, -1/+0I thought this as well, i was thinking turn off the flash!! thinking it was people with regular compact cameras, then I see a guy with DSLR and Flashgun. HE should know better. Flash reflects of glass guys.
- Nick05, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Shark vs Shark? There was no challenge or competition on the part of that 300 pound one.
- ZenMojo, on 02/27/2008, -0/+3Quoth the little one: "That's right, bitch, swim away...."
- ButterBuddha, on 02/27/2008, -0/+3OM NOM NOM NOM
- Wrigleyette, on 03/11/2008, -0/+0Maybe they should feed them more often, huh? YUMMY!
- StusGhost, on 02/27/2008, -0/+9Much cooler . . . !
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA8zQw6gDNI&feature ...- drgmdp, on 02/27/2008, -0/+2agree
- Nevarius, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Nice find. I especially liked how the octopus kept the shark upside down to produce tonic immobility. Very intelligent animals.
- mjomha, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1amazing thats so cool
- rmw132, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1I bet that's the shark that got Nemo...
- TheGoat7, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1It's going down, in the mall.
- AllLitUp, on 02/27/2008, -1/+1Bitch why all these people in here!?
- mukyboy, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1Hey, I know a guy who walked a tightrope over that tank.
- securexxx, on 02/27/2008, -0/+1someone cant afford to feed them?
- Nevarius, on 02/27/2008, -1/+1(pops in a 'The Lion King' DVD and plays the 'circle of life' chapter) *yawn*
- SilverBack101, on 02/28/2008, -0/+1I was expecting to see the big shark rip apart the little one in front of the crowd to the screams of little children watching. :(
- iupetre, on 02/28/2008, -0/+1no Jesus shark comments?
- pox05, on 02/29/2008, -0/+1i bet that didn't go quite as planned
