Recession hurts pets: a Seattle shopping event can help
examiner.com — Over 1,200 pets owned by low-income seniors and people living with AIDS are served by the Seattle Humane Society's Pet Food Bank. That number keeps growing. As does the number of animals surrendered to the Seattle Humane Society as people find it harder to keep their animals when they lose jobs and homes.
