- zelig, on 08/20/2008, -5/+24Never gets old, even after the 13th post.
This week.
- hoodmonkey, on 08/19/2008, -9/+28AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
I'm stuck in a tree!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! - orangefly, on 08/20/2008, -3/+20that was a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad pun....
- BorsKaegel, on 08/20/2008, -2/+19Wow.. Marlon Brando has made it to Digg.
- ZackScott, on 08/20/2008, -12/+26I won't lie. I've had a cat that climbed trees before, and he had a hard time getting down. But he was sure able to shoot right up them. He actually got diabetes and was on some medication for a few years, and he eventually died. I think he was 18 years old (in human years). I really have no idea how many cat years that is.
You know, it is neat that goats can climb trees, but I would really like to see a video. Maybe you can slow it down and compare how its muscles move compared to a feline's muscles. Goats do not have claws like cats have. I imagine it would be difficult for even the strongest of goats to do, but possible.
I'm reminded of the story of the goat and cat that were friends. The cat would eat the tuna out of the can, and the goat would eat the can. It was like a relationship from the Netherlands. - Sonan, on 08/20/2008, -4/+17I read "Before you jump to conclusions..." and thought maybe, just maybe, it wouldn't be the same old images again. I was wrong.

- franklymister, on 08/20/2008, -3/+10At least four times that I can personally recall.
The Digg duplicate search isn't very accurate. - HuskyPuzzle, on 08/20/2008, -2/+9Resilient little *****, aren't they.

- simoncallesen, on 08/20/2008, -5/+10Welcome... To the internet...
- protogenxl, on 08/20/2008, -0/+5City Gent: But where did they get the idea from?
Rustic: From Harold. He's that sheep there over under the elm. He's that most dangerous of animals, a clever sheep. He's the ring-leader. He has realized that a sheep's life consists of standing around for a few months and then being eaten. And that's a depressing prospect for an ambitious sheep. He's patently hit on the idea of escape.
City Gent: Well why don't you just get rid of Harold?
Rustic: Because of the enormous commercial possibilities should he succeed. - fquednau, on 08/20/2008, -0/+5Woa...
I knew media in general is highly repetitive (some would say, loopy) but that beats it.
Must be a human thing. To be honest, it was the first time I saw the story. I'm no digg power user but still...
An interesting question is then: How often must a story be duplicated to ensure every digg user has seen it? - JavertHolmes, on 08/20/2008, -0/+5I wanted to see footage of goats climbing up as well. Sure enough, YouTube answered my wishes.

- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -1/+5Imagine coming across this while stoned...
- m0n0kr0m3, on 08/20/2008, -0/+4Don't even do it WHILE they're eating.
- fquednau, on 08/20/2008, -1/+5goat damn it!
- suxmonkey, on 08/20/2008, -0/+4I ran a search .... there were two previous mentions, none nearly as in-depth as this one ... so ... what exactly is the problem? http://digg.com/search?section=all&s=goat+tree
- Elusis1, on 08/20/2008, -1/+516! Its like the clown car of the animal world LOL
- philadelphia, on 08/19/2008, -9/+12I wouldn't want to walk under one of those branches after they'd eaten.
- jnichols, on 08/20/2008, -3/+6Wow Diggers really love to see goats in a tree....
http://digg.com/pets_animals/Using_Goats_as_Christ ... ..... 33 Days ago
http://digg.com/odd_stuff/PICTURES_of_a_Bizarre_Ph ... ....... 1 year 228 days ago - ghostTree, on 08/20/2008, -0/+3That's what I was thinking. It's obvious that this video is real, as nobody in their right mind would put a bunch of goats in a tree just to record a video of them jumping down from it ... but where is the footage of them climbing?
... maybe I'm wrong, and somebody DID put the goats in the tree. That, would be even weirder. - inactive, on 08/20/2008, -0/+3And I thought it was tough getting a cat out of a tree!!!
- hotpuck6, on 08/21/2008, -0/+3yeah, getting down is the easy part, i wanted to see them climb up the tree.
- ghostTree, on 08/20/2008, -0/+3so is the universe, get over it.
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -1/+4May Goat be with you.
- davidrools, on 08/20/2008, -0/+3I was hoping to see a tree, climbing goats.
- teethandeyes, on 08/20/2008, -0/+3How can anyone be sick of these amazing tree climbing goats?
- eddyb123, on 08/20/2008, -0/+2Understandably
- joeolivas, on 08/20/2008, -1/+3I don't know, but the goats seem fairly credible to me.
- wsuvtx, on 08/20/2008, -1/+3Who care if it has been on Digg before? Like every Linux article is not just a rehash of the last one with new version numbers>
- Antz0rz, on 08/20/2008, -1/+3Don't forget to look in the trees.
- ZeeZee2k, on 08/20/2008, -1/+3Yea, but we only saw how they got off the tree. How do we know some jerk didn't just put them up there.
- Vodd9, on 08/20/2008, -0/+2Come on man, you saw them, they were even jumping from branches to branches.
- dn11, on 08/20/2008, -1/+3on that note, I bring you Rusty the narcoleptic dog
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zVCYdrw-1o - Torsteinator, on 08/20/2008, -3/+5this is so ***** old....
