- bossm4n, on 06/13/2009, -12/+693Well there's your problem. Engine seems to be running a little RUFF.
- gvoakes, on 06/13/2009, -8/+565I guess GM had to downgrade from Horsepower
- JlmAWP, on 06/13/2009, -3/+308Nah, they just left the barking brake on.
- inactive, on 06/13/2009, -8/+249Dammit Jim, I'm a dog, not a mechanic.
- duffbluff, on 06/13/2009, -17/+243Yo dawg, I heard you like dogs...
- inactive, on 06/13/2009, -3/+113dogs from detroit: unwilling to stand idly by..
- ccxftw, on 06/13/2009, -6/+115That is my car. Get out of it, you are a dog. You can't even drive it.
- dashdingo, on 06/13/2009, -0/+45@bingQ, Petrie:
Onomatopoeia is the use of words like "BAM" and "POW" (think old Batman). The word you're looking for is "pun." As in, "is it just me, or has there been a recent trend consisting of animal pictures and puns?" - geenope, on 06/13/2009, -4/+47How the hell did he get there?
- ducati321, on 06/13/2009, -2/+41I dunno - it's making some kind of growling noise...
- mrgreenjeans, on 06/13/2009, -1/+36Video of the story:

- skipvt, on 06/13/2009, -3/+33There's a new one for the CarTalk guys...
- Rocketbird, on 06/13/2009, -6/+34There's a dog in your engine!
- inactive, on 06/13/2009, -1/+29And there's a poodle underneath the oil pan. You might want to get that checked out.
- reddoggie, on 06/13/2009, -1/+27He came up from underneath. Probably using the car for shade.
- cardyology, on 06/13/2009, -7/+32Get out of there dog. You're not a mechanic you're a dog.
- inactive, on 06/13/2009, -2/+24Here's the original for those who don't know. I like sharing this because no matter how many times I see it, it makes me lol.

if not, then disregard. - TBBucs, on 06/13/2009, -3/+23Good God man, do you live in a cave?
- mrpunman, on 06/13/2009, -3/+23I think the mechanic needs a whelping hand
- Petrie, on 06/13/2009, -3/+23That comment was much funnier to me than it should have been.
- inklies, on 06/13/2009, -4/+24That's an in-line Ford. I think the dog was one of the "aggressive-security" features they used to offer. No way GM could compete with that.
- dwoo12, on 06/13/2009, -2/+18...so I put a dog in your dawg statement so you can dawg while you dog.
- billyfalconer, on 06/13/2009, -3/+18Not gettin' much, huh?
- Chalks777, on 06/13/2009, -0/+15THAT'S NO CAT.
It's a pony. - marrus000, on 06/13/2009, -3/+15...so I put yo dog in yo engine so yo can drive yo dog while yo dog drives you, dawg.
- ThanatosST, on 06/13/2009, -1/+13well, you could connect the dog to the fuel tank, but I'm pretty sure the dog wouldn't like it too much.
- wTheOnew, on 06/13/2009, -0/+110:27, They spelled 'DOG' wrong!
This is why I can't take TV news seriously any more... - bdubatdi, on 06/13/2009, -0/+11just for the record he does say it in ace ventura ;)
- geoboy, on 06/13/2009, -0/+11That pony's a phony. It's a cat in disguise, guys.
- scotchw, on 06/13/2009, -2/+13Yo dog, I heard you like cars...
- threon, on 06/13/2009, -3/+14Hybrid car or mutt?
- Zindrix, on 06/13/2009, -1/+11So this is what they mean by an engine growl.
- kuchie, on 06/13/2009, -5/+14The '*****' caption makes this only mildly funny picture quite hilarious indeed!
- paloooz, on 06/13/2009, -2/+11... the *****? There are no characters named Jim in either of the Ace Ventura movies.
It's from Star Trek TOS. "Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor, not a brick layer." - markhiler, on 06/13/2009, -0/+8that's what she said
- faceless323, on 06/13/2009, -0/+8@3xch4ng3 - Learn your memes
- Schmich, on 06/13/2009, -1/+9Getting 1 Dogpower and agressive-security at the same time? Seems pretty efficient.
- Rotaryknight, on 06/13/2009, -2/+10star trek people......
- bobthegreat1224, on 06/13/2009, -2/+9Current versions of Firefox have a spellchecker built in. Spelling things correctly should be effortless. If you see a red underline, right click the word and pick the correct spelling from the options listed. How hard is that? It was understandable when people didn't want to spend the time to pick up a dictionary, less understandable when they weren't willing to open a new tab and go to an online dictionary, and it's inexcusable now that you have to actively ignore the fact that your browser is telling you where your mistakes are.
Moreover, why commend a person for spelling when they've screwed up basic capitalization rules? - kdmkdmkdm, on 06/13/2009, -0/+7I'd assume Doug is what ended up being the dog's name-- otherwise WTF
- BossKey, on 06/13/2009, -1/+8omg lolponies!
- Natnie, on 06/13/2009, -4/+11This thread is a sea of caption fail...
- S1ngular1ty1, on 06/13/2009, -1/+8So is that a boxer engine ?
- SSUK, on 06/13/2009, -2/+8INTERNET RAGE MACHINE
- techdever, on 06/13/2009, -3/+9lolwut
- FTWmovin2canada, on 06/13/2009, -0/+6/golfclap
- slashdotordigg, on 06/13/2009, -2/+8It seems that your engine is hounded. Try making it husk.
- ProfessorLX, on 06/14/2009, -0/+6epic comment dude
