- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -1/+55Too bad she didn't stick the landing on that "perfect" somersault.
- SpookyDIGG, on 05/15/2008, -0/+22Buried for inaccuracy, its not a perfect somersault, its a lame ass article if the horse had injured itself and had to be put down they would never have printed it.
- goodbick, on 05/15/2008, -1/+20I honestly thought the title said "Horse Dong" and yet I clicked on it anyway....
- sagat, on 05/15/2008, -2/+14If I was to do a somersault, not that it would ever happen as I'm about as nimble as crane but if I was to somehow ever do one and I landed flat on my back like this horse I very much doubt anyone would call it a perfect somersault. Yet more spam on Digg from the Daily Fail and like always I've got to bury it as inaccurate.
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -7/+21Just glad the horse didn't get injured. Was watching the derby last week when a horse had to be put down
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -0/+11That's a somersault? Looks more like "I TOLD YOU TO STOP LEAVING YOUR ***** SKATES IN THE HALLWAY, TIMMY"
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -0/+9It's dailymail. There IS no full story.
- sevenslashfour, on 05/15/2008, -0/+8Aaaaaaaaaand this is front-page material how?
Poor horse =/ - startmenu, on 05/15/2008, -0/+7Its only a perfect somersault if the intention is to break your back upon landing.
At any rate, the headline on the right of the page is more interesting - 'Why no child is safe from the sinister cult of emo'. Tells you all you need to know about the writers and readers of the Daily Mail. - matschig, on 05/15/2008, -2/+11Really? I haven't heard about that
- zooto68, on 05/15/2008, -0/+6Erm.. that is hardly perfect.
- stfucupcake, on 05/15/2008, -0/+5Still, the judges still gave her an 8.5 for difficulty.
- Plower, on 05/15/2008, -0/+4she can do one better than I can
- dudefaceguyman, on 05/15/2008, -3/+8Well this is stupid as hell. No video, and from what I gather the horse only did a half somersault since he ended up on his back. Oh and most importantly it wasn't some epic circus trick like I hoped. The horse was just being a clumsy moron and fell over.
***** YOU HORSE - Witchbaby, on 05/15/2008, -0/+3Psht. That was hardly perfect.
- mstoneburner, on 05/15/2008, -2/+7Sure, why believe the article when someone on the internet tells me otherwise while providing no proof to support their assertion. Makes sense to me. What's wrong with them being slaughtered for meat? Why should the meat go to waste after the horse's racing career is over? They're animals.
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -1/+3"They're animals."
So are humans. Since you have outlived your usefulness please have yourself made into some steaks so we can feed the homeless. - joshhan, on 05/15/2008, -0/+210/10 on the rant scale. Bravo!
- Nougat, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2"... and yet ..."
Uh huh. Sure. - inigomntoya, on 05/15/2008, -1/+3Yeah - Video or it didn't happen! /s
- nard3456, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1why is this popular?
- mstoneburner, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1The idiot submitters make up the headlines.
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2Do you think you might have some suppressed feelings there? Not condemning you for them but just pointing out you clicked on "horse dong" and your nick is only one letter off from being "good dick". "don't get pissed, i'm only kidding"
- matschig, on 05/15/2008, -2/+3i'm not being serious, lol
- robo523, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1so cute, then he died
- charman2k6, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1That wasn't nearly as cool as it sounded.
- funklor, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2Oh, how cute! Let's fawn! Only it's about as a cute as a child running across a busy freeway and emerging with a nice smile. The headline could have just as easily been "Horse head-butts ground, snaps neck."
- Bennito, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1LOL! They described a horse as "Sheepish." Isn't there something wrong with that?
- RatGuy5, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2I'm a bit new to Digg, so the answer to this question may be obvious to the rest of you, but... who the hell makes up these headlines? STUNNING! AWESOME! AMAZING! BREAKING! Or in this case, PERFECT. Most of these tend to stray from their headline descriptions, if not just turn out to be a flat out insult to the very definitions of those words. I think I'll begin using this here "Bury" button a lot more often.
- wasabimonster, on 05/15/2008, -2/+3You just proved it yourself with that comment.
- JMellissa, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Who is there to understand the mind of a horse? I know they like to roll in the dirt right after you get them all clean and brushed up to look nice.
- Butmac, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1And yet, Eight Belles breaks both front ankles...trotting.
Wtf horses? - DailyWail, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1DailyMail. . . . .
- whalt, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Schattenlady? Is that German for 2 Girls 1 Cup?
- mllawso, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Since we all know horse = human. I also hope you don't eat bacon, since pigs are smarter than horses.
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -2/+3I refer you to your own statement.
- mllawso, on 05/16/2008, -1/+1@cdahlkvist
Yeah, those bastards rather throw away the $10,000 that they have invested in the horse, rather than try to fix it. - brjndr, on 05/15/2008, -2/+2Eight Bells, broke both ankles.
- wacomwacoff, on 05/15/2008, -2/+3Yes -- Six Belles -- she broke both knees and was put down on the track.
- 007isbond1, on 05/15/2008, -0/+0oh soo true.
- ASSASSYN360, on 05/15/2008, -0/+0More like a coordinated hoof stand than some rudimentary somersault.
- petercox, on 12/15/2008, -0/+0I would be interested how and why the saddle slipped. Seems like a nasty fall but I am glad to learn the horse was OK. They should be able to find a new saddle at http://www.second-hand-saddles.co.uk if they need to replace the old saddle. It seems to me that they will need to replace it!
- StueyPidass, on 05/15/2008, -0/+0the pictures dont add up. Is it supposed to be a front or back flip?
- DanBoodro, on 05/15/2008, -2/+2What no one remembers the crazy horse glitch in Assassin's Creed?
- nickert0n, on 05/15/2008, -2/+1Front page really? I gota say ***** GAY
- etsboy1, on 05/15/2008, -5/+5A good picture, but where's that actual full story?
- mmaSENSEI, on 05/15/2008, -3/+1Watch this months "Real Sports" on HBO. They actually show several different former race horses being slaughtered for meat.
- cawpin, on 05/15/2008, -3/+2Both front ankles, but yeah, it wasn't good. Also, to matschiq, are you being serious?
- mstoneburner, on 05/15/2008, -4/+2Support your argument that I've outlived my usefulness. PS ***** you, *****.
- DanBoodro, on 05/15/2008, -5/+3Assassin's Creed?
