One of her clients had a diabetic cat & my gf would give it insulin injections during every visit. The cat usually behaved like a typical cat, but I was with her last weekend during a visit and the cat was hardly moving. He apparently had hardly moved since the previous visit and we couldn't even get him to stand up. We tried to feed him but after only one or two bites he just put its head down in the food bowl, almost exactly like in that picture. I ended up driving her & the cat to an ASPCA animal hospital and found out that the cat had to be put down later that night due to liver failure and other complications...

1. Most of the actual people who submit good articles have left for other sites hence allowing old regurgitated crap that has been around longer than Digg itself to make it to the front page.
2. Digg has started putting ***** like this on the front page because they know their demographic went from mildly intelligent techies to complete retards just looking for the "lolz"
I normally wouldn't comment if it was something exceptionally funny, or hell even trying to revive an old meme, but this picture has seriously been around longer than most of the other regurgitated crap on Digg. I mean this was on EHOWA back when it first started and people actually went to EHOWA.

So even if digg were still largely tech-minded, a sufficient number of YouTubers could choose frontpage content simply by digging everything shiny enough to catch their attention for a moment (e.g., pictures and stupid burbia posts).
I personally don't digg or bury the majority of submissions I encounter, reserving that for especially good and bad articles respectively (with the occasional picture or silly article).
