- jstroot, on 10/11/2007, -4/+21The '28' days or weeks movies are not zombies. The people infected with 'rage' will die of thirst and hunger. They are not biologically zombies. So arguing that zombies can run based on those movies is bogus.
Zombies don't have body heat? I'm not sure about that. How fast do they turn? If they are 'fresh' zombies then maybe they will have body heat, but not as bright as the other guy.
Also, if the guy in the video had ready the zombie survival guide, he would have known not to wear a cape. This is the same reason capes are discouraged in "The Incredibles" They get caught in things, and basically turn into zombie handle bars.
So, back to the issue of whether or not zombies can run. Here is my take on the issue. They are the walking dead, and as such.......they're dead. Their state of decomposition is somehow slowed, and bloating does not occur in the same fashion as a plain old dead guy. So, at some point, rigor mortis should set in at some point in time. This should make them slow down. So, I think that initially, a zombie should be able to run. Whether or not they're coordinated enough to do so without falling on their dumb zombie ass is a different issue. - Cybrwolf, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19Anyone know what movie this is from?

Gotta hand it to Max Brooks, he definitely made me laugh out loud at some points in both books; he definitely has a knack for satire. I also heard World War Z was going to be a movie soon, hopefully it doesn't suck.

The sound of the guy barfing at the end is a little over the top. I think they did a good job producing it.

Maybe they made the ad but then had to re balance the game or something, but i am pretty sure that it is an ad for it. Seen and confirmed on a fan forum a while back when it was still thought it would be an awesome game.
