XKCD creater gets book deal

nytimes.com — Randall Munroe, creator of the online comic strip xkcd, is publishing a print book. It's not being published through a traditional company but rather by breadpig — which was created by Alexis Ohanian, one of the founders of the social-news Web site reddit.

I'm not quite sure why this is NYT news, if anyone else did this, even the a syndicated cartoonist, the NYT would not cover it.

    At the same time. XKCD rocks and it's good to see Munroe get some more publicity.

    I still don't want to be able to read the title text before I finish reading the comic. I was thinking a pull down tab would work, even though that would be overly ridiculous
