- Joab, on 10/21/2007, -3/+32If its not a star wars parody or a family guy skit the Digg attention span is around 30 seconds for video.
- MasterJediDan, on 10/23/2007, -12/+27www.zeitgeistmovie.com
- tacocat, on 10/19/2007, -1/+14This blog post is nothing more than a guy posting his favorite TED talks. Why not just link to the TED website?
ted.com - FlapJaw, on 10/18/2007, -4/+15Pink Floyd rules
- tacocat, on 10/19/2007, -1/+12No, BMW just likes having its brand associated with 'smart-ness.'
- inactive, on 10/21/2007, -0/+10Will Wright please ***** release Spore already
- NikoKun, on 10/21/2007, -2/+9Dugg for the video about Spore!
- inactive, on 10/24/2007, -6/+13Richard Dawkins uses a Mac??? I didn't know he was gay...
- skinjester, on 10/21/2007, -1/+7Will Wright is a hero of mine, but what is he wearing?
- empiric, on 10/17/2007, -4/+9"Universe is Queerer Than We Can Suppose"
Seems rather metaphysical for Dawkins. - inactive, on 10/18/2007, -0/+5http://badgerbadgerbadger.com/
- SiNN4R, on 10/21/2007, -3/+7Because only men matter.
- JoshChan, on 10/18/2007, -2/+5I hope I can join the TED conference in the future...
- card51short, on 11/05/2007, -0/+3support your claims and provide some evidence on why the movie was so factual wrong.
Or just keep spouting on about nothing because you're uninformed. - superyounan1, on 10/17/2007, -1/+3this is a surprisingly excellent set of videos, thanks for posting
- artofwar420, on 10/20/2007, -0/+2OK....
- shoover, on 10/17/2007, -0/+2The videos were all from TED - I'm assuming BMW was a sponsor.
- dxmzan, on 10/19/2007, -0/+2I like how you threw in "but its not boring" as if to say most documentaries are boring.
- rhinopig, on 10/18/2007, -0/+2Dugg for will wright (who I didn't know was on there, although I knew of the site before hand).
- aadnk, on 10/19/2007, -0/+2No, because we can suppose (and disprove) those things. It's the things we CANNOT even thing off, that he's suggesting here.
- lintmonkey, on 10/17/2007, -0/+2Finally, something useful on lifehacker.
- ch4os1337, on 10/17/2007, -0/+2Great movie, But very controversial.
- Atmandk, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1So it appears.
- trentasaurus, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1I thought the dictionary girl was stupid.
- fantasyflamz, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1A video that changed how I viewed the world and had a great impact on me was the '74 movie "hearts and minds" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071604/#comment It is about the vietnam war and it is a documentary, but it is not boring, but heartbreaking and makes you see how cruel people can be and I recommend everyone watch it.
- inactive, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1What? No "boom goes teh dynamite"? :-)
- kingofthisnight, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1I have noticed that too. I rarely look to see what videos are on the video section because generally they are worthless.
- fantasyflamz, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1I don't think documentaries are boring, it's just that I know that most people think of documentaries as boring, dry things, and I didn't want them to think that. Don't worry, I like watching documentaries!
- snuffulupagus, on 10/18/2007, -4/+5Why are they almost all men :(
- Mindzai, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1"This stuff is too serious and heavy for all but a very small audience."
Lets hope not. I do believe I found TED awhile back through another great site.
http://consciousmedianetwork.com/home.htm - geoman2k, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1any idea what the thing on will wright's arm is in the spore video?
- ElectricGrandpa, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1Yeah I was wondering the same thing... Weird.
- nirav72, on 10/18/2007, -1/+2hmm..Join as in speak at the TED conference? If thats the case, you better get off digg and get super smart by reading.
- Atmandk, on 10/19/2007, -0/+1yes it is.
- rkiga, on 10/18/2007, -0/+1His arm is in a funky looking brace. He's probably wearing that vest because it was the only thing that could fit over his broken arm. I don't know what's the worse option: 1) he bought it before and it was in his closet sitting quietly for it's rebirth into the world, or 2) he had nothing in his closet to fit over his arm and he picked that out new from the store.
- CheezIt9109, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1I have only had the time to see the first two clips, but if the rest are nearly as good, its quite depressing that this isn't getting more attention.
Not to mention the level of comments... I never expect much from digg, but this one is far worse than youtube... - rogersj3, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1Will Wright is sporting a jacket that is what some scientists are calling "revoltingly hideous."
- heartcoldfusion, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1BMW isn't your typical corporation.
- Hillsbottom, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1heres the proper site for TED with lots more videos

There is a lot of awesome stuff on there :) - heartcoldfusion, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1BMW isn't your typical corporation.
- rednorth, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1no, these are not cool.
http://tlctugger.com/Media/Circumcision_WM7NTSC_25 ... - Logicexe, on 11/05/2007, -3/+4Why is everybody hating on Zeitgeist? That movie was hilarious! Oh wait, you mean it wasn't a comedy?
- BrapAllgood, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1I just discovered TED this year and it happens not 20 minutes from where I sit. You can lose days in the video section at http://www.TED.com , but it's time well spent.
- Intangible360, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1I haven't watched the video yet. What he's wearing has got to be some sort of joke though...
- abcdigg, on 10/17/2007, -0/+1TED standards aren't very high.
I think I'll go speak next year. - uzair21, on 06/23/2008, -0/+1Awesome. Life sucks, thats why we hack it.
http://www.gamelet.net/ - ZenMojo, on 10/17/2007, -1/+2"In this talk notable evolutionary biologist, Richard Dawkins points out just how weird reality might be. He talks about how we have evolved to fit into a so-called “Middle World” where we can’t observe the very large or very small. The universe might just be a whole lot queerer than we suppose. Or, as Dawkins points out, than we even can suppose."
But of course teapots aren't floating in space and there are no giant invisible beings. -
