- abusive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+112That has to be some of the most amazing driving I have ever seen in my life. Digg!
- hack314, on 10/12/2007, -1/+94I love these cars are doing the most illegal ***** ever, yet they still use their turn signals..
- GeoffChang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+70If I saw that kind of stuff today on tv I would say it was all CG. But WOW, the 80's! What an incredible production for such a ... plain looking car.
- kingfoot, on 10/12/2007, -3/+58every one of those stunts were all by real drivers and thats whats incredable. no CG no nothing. I also wonder how many cars they crashed making it, how many takes it took to do all of those. How much it cost to make it. and how many cardboard boxes they used to stop the cars. That was incredable and a nice song too :D +digg.
- MikeDubb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+55This video resembles my daily commute to work. Same car too. I've gotta watch out though, sometimes that boat isn't there :/
- kevin.gc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+53This video makes today's version drifting look boring.
- cisox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+33I'd be interested in this "The best XXX EVER!".
- KingAdrock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32Hey I owned one of those (called Isuzu I-Mark here). Those thing were turbo charged with handeling by Lotus -- Thats how I drove that badboy too:)
- dc7407, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32yeah i'd like to know how many cars they wrecked to make those comercials. they get within inches of eachother. how come we dont c that good of stunts in the movies?
- zone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+32"That was incredable and a nice song too"
Karaja - She Moves - RyenDeckard, on 10/12/2007, -3/+32No it's not. Not at all.
- vamp1regr4ve, on 10/12/2007, -10/+35your comment is also a waste of space because you are only telling him that his comment is a waste of space. Thus my comment is also a waste of space cause im telling you that your comment is a waste of space ;D
- mlkmnz, on 10/12/2007, -5/+29Check the amount of buries your comment has. Maybe it is you who is lame?
- cfarmer8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22im going to buy this car after seeing this!
- da_bradler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19man I miss the days when you saw stuff on t.v and were impressed. you see something like this now a days and you don't pay attention cause it's just all smoke and mirrors but man looking at stuff like this is just wow, why did we ever need to introduce cgi if we were capable of all that in the 80s
- rodan32, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17And how! The 80s were wicked awesome!
- mlkmnz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17Such an amazing add for such a crap car....
Anyone else remember the days before computer animation, when entertainment was done by people with skill and under extremely dangerous conditions? If this was done with CG it'd just seem so-so. - dojob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Performed by Rémi Julienne a famous french stunt maker...
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%A9my_Julienne - stryker2you, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14did that video make anyone else want to buy one of those or just me? very sweet!
- doodlebumm, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Some stunts were FACILITATED by the use of ties between the cars. Best example is where the two blue and two red cars are "spinning like a top" in the square. You see a cut between the line-up of the cars and the spin, and then again before they separate. They obviously tied the four cars together before doing a spin (cars can't actually turn like that anyway). There are other places where this sort of trick was used, look for the separation between the line-up and the execution.
Great video to watch, though! I enjoyed it. - samdu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13This is certainly less about the vehicle and more about the drivers. I don't think I've ever seen stunt driving as incredible as this.
- MicrowavedH2o, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16yeah... you don't see those flying cars take off or land.
But, its pretty awesome. Up there with the Honda Cogs commercial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEF0cg1j35o - zanzaman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Of course it is CG... you can't imagine what you could been able to do with an Amiga 500+ and DPaint IV at these times !
I'm just kidding of course, pretty amazing stunts, especially the jump over the river Seine
Digg ! - evilTak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Great, because my exsitance has been a little dull lately...
- OHFOSHO, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Saab did a similar comercial when the 900 came out.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=y_ESmdbdVA4 - Avogadro65, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I'm not sure that car would wrap very far around a tree.
- Lososaurus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Street drifting = boring
Rally drifting = friggin rad.
Depends on what kind of drifting you compare it to. - TheKingInYellow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8i realize now how ***** american car commercials are. even the foreign car commercials in america are kinda lame with the exception of the VW rabbit spot and maybe the yaris (but that's 3d animation so it doesn't count). when you know that the video you're watching is performed by real people and real cars then it's impressive. flying, transforming 3d cars is eye candy and kind of run of the mill garbage.
- CaptShmo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7digg! i'm assuming this wasn't the original music =P
- spidoman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Or when they go on to two wheels, or when the car just all of a sudden goes on to it's two front wheels. Not computer effects, but special (practical) effects? Yes.
- pulphero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Who knew my drug addict brother in law had such a cool car.
- whiskeymb, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10not sure if I'd call it "best", but dang good...
- rkzda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Fact is young drivers wreck cars all the time because of inexperience and racing, not because they saw a commercial and decided to try a few tricks.
- NapoleonGold, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Saw this one a couple of months ago and the first thing that comes to mind
How long did training take and how many of those cars do ya think they crashed before nailing all those crazy stunts down?
Very Dugg - chewitt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6This is a compilation of multiple ads set to music
- ronabop, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Yeah, for you young-'uns out there, in the 80's, we actually had to *really* fly our TIE Fighter's and X-Wings, because special effects hadn't been invented yet (Star Wars came out in 1977, TRON came out in 1982, and the Last Starfighter came out in 1984)
"You kids stay off my lawn!" - Salvo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7They can't air commercials like this anymore. They would have Safe Driving Groups picketing dealerships, and for a small car, popular amongst young, inexperienced drivers, you'd see them wrapped around trees by the dozen.
- corewin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Damn thats skill. I wished that my Isuzu Rodeo could do that. :)
- passion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6not impressed eh?
Let's see you pull off one of those stunts. :) - UrlorJkron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Riding on two wheel is common among stunt drivers. However, it think some of the close quarters driving was assisted by cables. As for the jumps, there's a very important reason they didn't show most of the landings. ;)
- Zreitan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5the was INSANE! i would totally buy any car if i saw a commercial like that...note to all you auto dealers having trouble selling cars..do more crap like this!!
- AKfortyseven, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I wonder if you can find the background music on vinyl? ;)
- zone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6@CiXeL: there's always something good in "A State of Trance":

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_State_of_Trance - Slipperymint, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Hehe...they should have used these for the subway scene in The Italian Job.
- Insert31990, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6That's incredible driving.
I'd digg this twice if I could.
But that music? Catchy but odd lyrics. - ZeroVector, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6SMARTY PANTS! Your spoiling the fun.
- spooky760, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Can you imagine just how long the disclaimer would be if it were shown today?
- Lososaurus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Judge not lest ye be judged.
- Ezekiel25:17, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Those are some very talented drivers.... so who is getting one now!!
- yoda133113, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I think EVERYONE has seen the Cog commercial, we know it rocks, but believe it or not, more than one car commercial can rock
