- autodidactic, on 06/01/2008, -10/+231Dugg for dong.
- JMSantos, on 06/01/2008, -3/+196and *****
- czeman, on 06/01/2008, -32/+219I think these kids should be REWARDED, not arrested!
- iie.wakarimasen, on 06/01/2008, -42/+172today is my birthday
- PotatoSamurai, on 05/31/2008, -12/+130I'm sure Comcast is chomping at the bit to blame these script kiddies for the company's gross incompetence. Subscribers should sue.
- MrDoug, on 06/01/2008, -10/+101dugg for using dong correctly in a sentence.
- inspecality, on 06/01/2008, -2/+93That means your parents had sex in September.
Think about that. - badwithcomputer, on 06/01/2008, -7/+85june 1st? me too. happy birthday!
- coldfirenj, on 06/01/2008, -6/+66Just joining the chorus of people who agree that Comcast sucks.. it does
- reddavis999, on 06/01/2008, -4/+53he should probably buy some tighter fitting underwear
- ElbertF, on 06/01/2008, -5/+49I love you.
- keeganspeck, on 06/01/2008, -5/+44So, wait, they called to tell them that they had control over their registrar account? Nice white-hatting. ***** that dude for hanging up on them.
- jugglingjon, on 06/01/2008, -2/+38A Comcast technician once came to my house to take a look at our cable modem which was getting poor performance for some reason. As he was working, I went into my room for a while, and when I came back, he was drilling a hole in the wall with a drill at least 1 foot long.
His plan apparently was to drill a hole through the wall, to the outside of the house, and run a cable directly from the box outside, to the cable modem; but his drill wasn't strong enough to get through the brick on the outside of the house, so we were left with a giant hole in the wall, which he covered with a nonworking, crooked coax outlet. We called Verizon that day.
Completely inept. - DaDrake, on 06/01/2008, -2/+36I wonder how smart these kids are. Why would they say "I am waiting to be arrested"... they have just confess that they 1) knew what hey did was illegal 2) It had serious consequences. They should wait for a lawyer before they say a word.
Then again, I am more than positive they did it for bragging rights. Kids are stupid these days. - AmericansRevolt, on 06/01/2008, -1/+34actually, if you answer the door naked bent over and ass cheeks spread apart, you wont have to worry about a stripsearch down at the station... much more comfortable to do that in-home.
- Skooma714, on 06/01/2008, -3/+34They should be running right about now.
- dylio, on 06/01/2008, -2/+29I'm your ISP, watching you masturbate as I raid you.
- SaladCactusKing, on 06/01/2008, -3/+28After their stint in prison, their new hacker team will be called An@L33t
- jynweythek, on 09/17/2008, -2/+26today isn't my birthday. :'(
- badassninja, on 06/01/2008, -1/+25Happy Birthday.... Bitch. Well I couldn't be to nice, people might think I'm going soft.
- kroni, on 06/01/2008, -7/+31This kids are pretty retarded. Good criminals never get arrested. I would have first got a lawyer, 2nd deny everything, 3rd probably leaving the country, if not, at least not sleeping at my former home. They probably want to be arrested, to whore fame. With his underwear statement, I hope he can hack himself out of gangrape at prison.
- BradBrown, on 06/01/2008, -0/+23...rewarded with better underwear so their dongs aren't hanging out the next time the house is raided.
- GhostToon, on 06/01/2008, -0/+21Same thing happened to us except the Comcast technician drilled the hole in the middle of our kitchen floor. To top it off he didn't understand why we were yelling at him because he spoke no English.
- TheFinaleofSeem, on 06/01/2008, -6/+27As much as Comcast sucks dead horse dick, these kids are idiots. They've been arrested for hacking before, but they just keep going. Get used to having your dong hanging out and getting accosted in the middle of the night, kiddo, because where you're going, it's going to happen a lot.
- thedarkrabbit, on 06/01/2008, -1/+21mine is tomorrow!!
- unicronband, on 06/01/2008, -1/+21june 2nd? me too. happy birthday!
- twiztidsinz, on 06/01/2008, -2/+22Security lapse? no.
Implanting files on the server? Yes.
Staging a DoS Attack? HELL ***** YES. - wtfmate112, on 06/01/2008, -0/+19June 3rd? me too. Happy Birthday!
- a3r0, on 06/01/2008, -1/+19As soon as I read the description I checked to see if it was an Onion article
- zinc6471, on 06/01/2008, -2/+19its funny how its anything done on a computer can easily be called "hacking"
- azbmr, on 06/01/2008, -0/+16Any love for the 3rd?
- seventoes, on 06/01/2008, -1/+16I give three flying *****. Maybe more if im feeling it.
- zyklon, on 06/01/2008, -1/+15Still trolling are you? Kill yourself.
- KMartSheriff, on 06/01/2008, -2/+15I love you too.
- Orderless, on 06/01/2008, -1/+13Denial Of Schlong?
- rdoger6424, on 06/01/2008, -0/+11One hell of a labor day
- OswaldKenobi, on 06/01/2008, -0/+11And just like Verizon and all of the other cable and phone providers, Comcast uses contractors to do installations. Did you call and complain? Probably not. I know for a fact that Comcast and all of the others will make sure your hole gets fixed.
- duckyinc, on 06/01/2008, -1/+11Ahahha pwned, use more proxies next time!! (and don't use public exploits)
- Ransomowris, on 06/01/2008, -2/+12It sounds like this was stolen from the torrentfreak interview, unless the interviewee said the exact same thing, verbatim, in both interviews.
- skin, on 06/01/2008, -3/+12I actually don't like yours better. You may have been earlier, but you posted g4tv.com's account of the original Cnet story. I'd rather digg this one up.
- Cruelapollo, on 06/01/2008, -0/+8I once held 10 đồng in my hand.
- twiztidsinz, on 06/01/2008, -1/+8I think he'd be more likely to be buried for confusing two stories...
As far as I can tell, there was no one DoS'ing Comcast or the server. - sylvok, on 06/01/2008, -0/+7I say they are gray hats, they did try to tell Comcast.
- Niten, on 06/01/2008, -3/+9It's not "white-hatting" if you follow up by leaving a moronic "I'm a leet haxxor" message where the comcast.net home page should be and, in general, conducting yourself like a brainless five-year-old.
Yeah, Comcast sucks. But that's no excuse for criminal behavior. These guys deserve jail time, and maybe afterwards they'll have learned to think about the consequences of their actions before pulling another such stunt. - bj1989, on 06/01/2008, -3/+9Comcast should be thankful these guys figured out their security was weak. The kids did nothing harmful. If they hadn't hacked comcast someone else with bad intentions might have done it later.
- badassninja, on 06/01/2008, -2/+8Comcast sucks ass. I wish the hack was bigger and better.
- hpfreak26, on 06/01/2008, -0/+5How have you heard it used incorrectly? "I donged her?"
- smackphat, on 06/01/2008, -3/+8Today is my birthday too.
- azbmr, on 06/01/2008, -0/+5What happened was they got into the Network Solutions account for Comcast (like 50 domains) they changed the contact info on comcast.net and someone at Comcast changed it back. They broke back in to the NetSol account and changed it back again and called the technical contact at home and told him they broken in. He didn't believe them and hung up on them. They redirected the site to show they were serious. This isn't an example of script kiddies or DoS'ing.
