- silverleaves, on 05/17/2008, -19/+56Sounds like they were hidden. I'm surprised they were not burned by Bush Senior. You know the guy who was promised The presidency if he would cover up the Warren report? How else could this guy get into office, same with his son.
- seanomerta, on 05/17/2008, -3/+34This was top 10 back in February when it actually broke.
- Ghoztt, on 05/17/2008, -8/+31Here, I'll make it real simple for you people. Here's why JFK died:

- gklitt, on 05/17/2008, -0/+17Whether or not you believe the conspiracy theories, this is definitely an invaluable resource for examining the whole incident.
- terribly1, on 05/17/2008, -2/+17Back, and to the left.
- d03boy, on 05/17/2008, -0/+12First order of business: Turn these into plain text files
- fuzzmello, on 05/17/2008, -6/+18i've already found something that's very interesting. this is texas, and they haven't tried to pin anything on a black or latino.
- inactive, on 05/17/2008, -3/+15Look at this ***** wink at LBJ with Jackie not 5 feet away and covered in Jack's blood. The truth is right ***** here and these knee-jerk reactionaries don't want to believe it.
http://www.jfkmurdersolved.com/images/wink.jpg - inactive, on 05/17/2008, -7/+19Yes because everything the government tells us is 100% true, the media has no agenda whatsoever, rich people have our best interests at heart and the Easter Bunny is ***** the Tooth Fairy.
- antileet, on 05/17/2008, -3/+14Let the public know the truth!
- swrostmore, on 05/17/2008, -0/+10Section 20, pdf 112 has an anonymous letter to the DA warning not to hold Ruby's trial in Dallas, because he was certain to be assassinated by organized crime in the area.
- t1cal, on 05/17/2008, -1/+8Check Out Section 20 jfk113. Pretty interesting witness report.
- SpaceRibs, on 05/17/2008, -2/+9Check out this letter, jfk49.pdf (page 10):
"Dear Mr. Ruby,
I am a 23 year old housewife with two young sons and a wonderful husband. I'm writing because I want you to know I'm on your side. Perhaps because you have no family of your own, you put your devotion into President Kennedy and his family. If anyone harmed one of my family, in my grief and anger I'm sure I'd try to hurt them back. I understand your kind of emotion and you have received very unfair publicity...
Mr. Ruby, I do so share your feelings and emotions. Please know that my prayers and thoughts will be with you during the difficult days of your trial. God understands your motivations, surely we can too. Good luck to you.
Most sincerely,
Mrs. John R. Kent" - metaliq, on 05/17/2008, -0/+7So massive conspiracies aren't possible, eh?
- swrostmore, on 05/17/2008, -0/+6The committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_Select_Committe ... - inactive, on 05/17/2008, -0/+6Oh, and by the way. Here's what the committee ACTUALLY concluded, in it's entirety.
The Committee investigated until 1978, and in 1979 issued its final report, concluding that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald, probably as a result of a conspiracy. The members of this probable conspiracy were not identified. However, the committee noted that it believed that the conspiracy did not include the governments of the Soviet Union or Cuba, nor the FBI, the CIA, or the Secret Service. It also stated it did not believe the conspiracy was organized by any organized crime group, nor any anti-Castro group, but that it could not rule out individual members of either of those groups acting together. - inactive, on 05/17/2008, -2/+8I don't know about Bush being "promised" the presidency, but his cooperation sure didn't hurt his pursuit. The direct beneficiary to the Warren Commission was Gerald Ford, who was just a Congressman at the time. Sure helped his career. Also, Dan Rather was a local newsman, but being one of the people to originally view the Zapruder film in a private setting, and then LYING about what the tape showed, helped his career ascent to the national level. It really is quite telling how many people were rewarded for their cooperation in this cover up.
- lhbaker, on 05/18/2008, -0/+5You know, for all of you burying this as conspiracy fodder, this material is far more important from a historical perspective. This is lost history, and so far some of it's pretty fascinating (Gushing fan letters to Jack Ruby!). Get over yourselves.
- inactive, on 05/17/2008, -0/+5Imagine what our world would be like without these bozos in charge.
- Elderon, on 05/17/2008, -0/+5I'm still getting used to the new comment system so hopefully this is posted in the right thread. (some don't have reply by them).
@QuorumCall, Well the Government is certainly capable of performing an assassination or something on the scale of 9/11 (not saying that did or not), but in regards to saying how can they pull that off and not silence the critics? The answer is simple, they just don't care. As long as "truthers" are made out to be a bunch of crazy hippies, people just dismiss what they say as crazy conspiracy theories and paranoid delusions. Why would the government be scared of what a bunch of paranoids think. It's like ufo people. Assuming it's real why hasn't the government killed all the UFO junkies? it's because they are all made out to be crazy. Talking about UFO.s is like an instant - "I have no credibility" ticket. Same as with the topic of JFK and 9/11 - swrostmore, on 05/17/2008, -2/+7The House Select Committee on Assasinations concluded that there was a conspiracy. So the real "nutbars" (mmm, delicious") are those who deny the conspiracy happened.
"The committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy" - Modulo, on 05/17/2008, -2/+6"George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.
The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism. "

Take off the blinders. You've been had, dad. - RyeBrye, on 05/17/2008, -5/+8Yeah, Hollywood movies are known for their accuracy. I'll take Morgan Freeman's on-screen testimony that Oswald can't possibly fire a rifle so fast as "evidence" that Oswald couldn't have done it - in spite of the fact that I've seen a 60 year old man demonstrate it is quite easy.
The History channel has a pretty thorough - and pretty fair - hour or two long special they air about the assassination. They pretty much debunk all of the Oliver stone crap, and at the end of it the most likely conclusion is also the least exciting conclusion... that Oswald was most likely the culprit. - Modulo, on 05/17/2008, -0/+3Let's not forget this little tidbit.
"This FBI-document of 1947 recommends that "one Jack Rubenstein of Chicago" should not be called to testify for the Committee on Unamerican Activities, for he is working for Congressman Richard M. Nixon. According to the Warren Commission, Ruby had no connections with Oswald, Organized Crime or the Government. No wonder the header reads "This is sensitive"."
Jack Ruby was born Jacob Rubenstein.
http://www.jfkmurdersolved.com/nixonruby.htm - Borgcube636, on 05/17/2008, -3/+6We'll see who's the nutbar when we really know the truth, which you seem too lazy and skeptical to find out for yourself.
- spawnfree, on 05/17/2008, -0/+3i think i speak for most with a long hard laugh at this notion.
they lost the presidents brain.
"oops arent we idiots. hurr hurr."
no.
no they are not. - OverthrowTheNWO, on 05/18/2008, -1/+3He was shot in the head ..point blank.
Watch the video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WCc_y5k0n8
Note: The driver out of all the people, turns around in his seat 2-3 seconds before JFK gets shot in the head and then turns back as if he saw nothing. Video disclosed by William Cooper - he gave his life to show you this.
If you want to know how and why, youtube William Cooper.
RIP Bill. - ricorodriguez, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2The Manhattan project was not kept completely secret. Read about how the soviets developed their atomic bomb.
- QuorumCall, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2His emotive argument also contained a few veritable facts, something you might try dealing in when you are trying to convince someone of something.
- scaaven2, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2He vehemently denies it though. I agree it doesn't mean much, but that's the reason people bring it up.
- zspitfire04, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2pics or it didnt happen...
- zspitfire04, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2So Soviet Union hits up Castro, Castro hits up Mafia Boss. Boss has inside connections to FBI, CIA, and SS.Gets it all set up, shoots him from the Grassy Noll and frames Oswald??
- gavinonymous, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2The Manhattan project - not a conspiracy, but involved thousands of people and was kept completely secret.
- macwac, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2Yippi... i'd thought i'd just read the first document out of semi-interest; group 1 pdf 1 - page 11-15 scanned upside down. Someone had fun at the scanner!
- Devotia, on 05/17/2008, -3/+5Of course! 17 year old Bush was the gunman in the grassy knoll! How could I not see it coming?
- Jesse, on 05/17/2008, -3/+5That proves that... LBJ was kind of an *****?
- swrostmore, on 05/17/2008, -1/+3Hm, Who to believe? The House Select Committee on Assassinations concluded that JFK was killed as the result of a conspiracy...but on the other hand "DarkReign16" says there was no conspiracy. I don't know, the King of Digg.com is probably the ruling authority on assasinations, right? Makes sense to me.
- inactive, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1The history channel also put out a documentary debunking the conspiracy theory that states the government was involved, so there you go, buddy.
- zspitfire04, on 05/18/2008, -1/+2You sir, are an idiot.
- lhbaker, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1There are tons of those. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/img/02 ...
This very cool stuff. - CCoe, on 05/17/2008, -0/+1I think three "o"s would have done there. What you did there clearly implies that the story broke around summer '06.
- Jeffler, on 05/17/2008, -1/+2lol @ choosing the one example from that era that actually works accidentally
- Virgule, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1yup :(
