The near rook isn't all that effective that close to the king; and the far rook has at least 3 moves to break free, during which the calm kid's queen can wreck havoc on any perceived positioning.

Black's rook and knight in the coner are practically sitting ducks waiting to be picked off by white's queen. Black's knight can't even move to any other square because it is stuck by his own pieces plus it is unguarded. The rook in the corner next to the knight isn't getting much action either and it would take at least 3 moves by black to get it into play, and it is also unguarded. A few checks will allow white's queen to fork or skewer and nab a piece or two and then white will be up in material and position. Basically white's position is very favorable for good chess players. Also I'm pretty sure that white has a rook that he is covering with his arm.
