As I remember the interview with Jerry Delafemina, he ran the first ad before the Isuzu executives and asked what they thought of it. Their Chairman's answer was muffled because he was kissing Jerry's feet at the time.
For those who don't understand why it was a great campaign... Isuzu was an unknown auto brand and they needed an advertising campaign to become a known name.
