- inactive, on 07/27/2008, -15/+73I'm pretty sure that's what my PSP is for.
- forceuser, on 07/28/2008, -0/+46It's the same concept as a PS1 emulator except your computer needs to be much much better.
- mohsenxp, on 07/28/2008, -1/+35Breaking news...Play SNES games on your PC or laptop!
- oxymoron69, on 07/28/2008, -15/+40Wasn't this originally called BLEEM!

- 9966, on 07/28/2008, -3/+25Breaking news... Play NES games f*cking anywhere!
buried - thailand1972, on 07/28/2008, -0/+22Go tell him then.
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 07/28/2008, -0/+20Especially since you can just get the PC version if you want to.
- mode7even, on 07/28/2008, -5/+25Don't bother with ePSXe, just go with PSX for an emulator. It's far more stable and user friendly. No plugins, just open and play. Super easy.

- datdamonfoo, on 07/28/2008, -0/+18You mean you couldn't care less. If you could care less, you at least care a little.
- ikondx, on 07/28/2008, -1/+18I would be happy just to know how to play PS2 games in the PS3 (the new ones)
- sloo, on 07/28/2008, -2/+18It's not about about informing people, its about the steps involved in getting this certain one up and running.

http://www.pcsx2.net/ - Boktai1000, on 07/28/2008, -0/+9Through emulation? You do know they have Final Fantasy VII for PC right?
- hexydes, on 07/28/2008, -0/+9As far as emulators go, VERY in general, unless the console is ten years old, it's going to emulate like crap. Like the SNES was released in 1991 (all USA dates here, btw), and in like 1998 it ran but would get choppy at times, whereas the NES emulators would have no trouble. By 2001-ish computers were fast enough that the SNES was no problem now (this is around 1GHz timeframe), but the PSX (released in 1995) emulation was still pretty choppy. Now, PSX games run with almost no trouble, but PS2 games are still pretty hard to emulate. Give it a few years, the PS2 came out in 2000, so I would bet in the next year or two the advances in PCs will be such that PS2 games will emulate without any trouble (at which point people will be trying to emulate this generation's consoles, to only marginally successful results).
All this has happened before and will happen again... - NerveBand, on 07/28/2008, -3/+12Look, I know it's fun to bash Mac OS X and all that, but can't you just try the damn OS before bashing it?
- wickedtoaster, on 07/28/2008, -3/+12holy crap this is amazing!!!! playstation on computer!!! whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??!!?!??!!--------- date:8/14/00
- nemodomi, on 07/28/2008, -1/+9YOU were a noob at some point too, dumbass.
- prleet, on 07/28/2008, -3/+11if there was a way to emulate a girl friend, digg would go nuts!
- Greedfeed, on 07/28/2008, -1/+9Record label whore
- munkyxtc, on 07/28/2008, -1/+9Removal of BC FTL :(
- BevansDesign, on 07/28/2008, -1/+9Technically, there's an emulator available for every single game console, old and new. Whether or not they actually work is a completely different issue. There are a lot of people out there who like to make them as a hobby or just to see if they can do it.
Personally, I'd recommend just buying a used xbox somewhere. - Sirocco, on 07/28/2008, -0/+8Really?
How about not having to worry about region coding? Or PAL -> NTSC issues? Or not being able to finish the game because the developers ***** up and made the game unreasonably hard (hint: save states)? What about playing utterly obscure games that you'd never have any chance of getting a physical copy of? What if you just don't care to keep an outdated console hooked up to your TV just to play that one game you really love coming back to? Also, have you ever thought about being able to clean up the textures and bump up the game's resolution and frame rate? - IrvineKinneas50, on 07/28/2008, -2/+9I didn't read the article, but all I remember doing was installing the emulator and putting in Final Fantasy Tactics.
Meh. - TheUngod, on 07/28/2008, -1/+8Bleem was not "just another emulator." It was an official emulator sold in stores, and it also came out for Dreamcast (sadly only in Beta as far as I know, called Bleemcast).
- deweyhewson, on 07/28/2008, -1/+8While you're at it, you can make them look nearly as good as Dreamcast games.
http://savvygeek.com/2008/03/17/playstation-games- ... - migofcis, on 07/28/2008, -0/+7hey guys, does any body know if XBOX360 Emulators have been made yet?
- mohsenxp, on 07/28/2008, -0/+7Poor dude, of all the games to go and emulate you went for the one that has a PC version already!
- Shrubber, on 07/28/2008, -8/+15"Without googling?" Who cares if they have to use Google; it's not like that's some sort of dangerous adventure, it's a search engine!
- dragonrice, on 07/28/2008, -0/+7buried your comment as lame...
