- babylonian, on 08/16/2008, -2/+532This has been on Digg before. The first time I saw it, I decided I wanted to get it as a poster, so I got in touch with the guy who created it via MSN and he linked me to this.
Here's the image in 5906x8268:

I rendered such a big image so that people would have the possibilty to make their own posters, since I don't have the copyright for anything Valve related. So go ahead people print away, just don't begin taking money for it. - Tophillious, on 08/16/2008, -2/+211M.C. Escher is the lead designer on Portal 2?
- tylermenezes, on 08/16/2008, -0/+149Valve can pull off a sequel. They made, what, 8 Half Life games or so? Everyone loves those.
- Novamaster0, on 08/16/2008, -59/+163Portal needs to be left alone to die in greatness instead of being sequel shot to death.
- theguesser10, on 08/16/2008, -4/+81The problem with Portal is that it wasn't hard to solve the puzzles, it was hard to jump, portal, jump, portal, portal, jump, and land without messing up.

- staffell, on 08/16/2008, -3/+53thanks for letting us know
- vickers500, on 08/16/2008, -2/+50yes
- Linkitch, on 08/17/2008, -0/+44I did it all myself. You can read a lot more on the project from my DA page; http://linkitch.deviantart.com/art/Relatively-Port ...
- wonderbriefs, on 08/17/2008, -0/+39You can doubt, but there is a sequel in the works already.
- kawstick, on 08/17/2008, -0/+37... and the fact that they are competitors, obviously, means they can't exist in the same game.
- Zeroxysm, on 08/16/2008, -2/+37I've heard there are a few other members on dA too.
- Tophillious, on 08/16/2008, -1/+33How would you go about making a poster out of this? Does anyone know a place to send this in, and get a full size one or something?
- btschul, on 08/16/2008, -1/+32Kinkos would do it for $20 - $30 I think. Unless there are copyright concerns. Maybe talk to babylonian and get the artist's contact info and get written permission.
- inactive, on 08/16/2008, -2/+33Ooooor they can make a sequel and people will play it if they like it. Making a bad sequel will not change the fact that the original is good.
- BestJaxx, on 08/17/2008, -1/+31@euphoria860: Have you played Ep 2? SPOILER ALERT!! They say that they are going to a crashed ship (I can't remember the name) that held a bunch of technology from Aperture Science. If that isn't a hint at the portal gun being in there, I don't know what is.
- infinityofnever, on 08/16/2008, -1/+31what's not possible?
- benroy, on 08/17/2008, -4/+33Unfortunately most young people now think that M.C. Escher is a DJ.
- pigducksheep, on 08/17/2008, -1/+28His sick beats lack perspective.
- deviantsteve, on 08/17/2008, -0/+24I agree, more of a mental challenge instead of a coordination would be a bit better, but you still need that balance
- btschul, on 08/16/2008, -2/+26I'd buy it.
- euphoria860, on 08/17/2008, -0/+23to what... water?
- Tophillious, on 08/16/2008, -2/+25No way! Me too!
- gitrplaya4u, on 08/17/2008, -0/+22It's great man!
- inactive, on 08/16/2008, -4/+25LOL DA USERZ PARTY!!!1111
- robohoe, on 08/17/2008, -0/+21Or, you could rasterbate it for free and get a funky design.
Google rasterbator and see what I mean. - keithnoir, on 08/17/2008, -1/+22M. C. Freeman
- Dylson, on 08/16/2008, -1/+22I'd install it.
- nielkie, on 08/17/2008, -0/+21I'd play it.
- AndrewDB, on 08/16/2008, -4/+25Link to the original artist's page ffs : http://linkitch.deviantart.com
- Archer007, on 08/17/2008, -0/+20...but you can always debate whether the card exists.
- kawstick, on 08/17/2008, -0/+20Well, that's what you get for buying an eMachine.
- cannonball, on 08/17/2008, -0/+18I'm not sure we want to pay for a dimension we won't use...
- inactive, on 08/16/2008, -2/+19Incredible! You should write a blog article and Digg it so users like broalexinfo are aware of this fact.
- arandomgeek, on 02/24/2009, -0/+17Now try doing it at five frames per second on a *****' eMachine. It's much harder, believe me.
- iizh, on 08/17/2008, -0/+16Don't worry, I'll remind your tomorrow. Who wants the shift after that?
- wazzledoozle2, on 08/16/2008, -6/+22Would it be possible to create a map like that?
- Ajjah, on 08/17/2008, -4/+20He's my favourite MC....
- oneoverzero, on 08/17/2008, -0/+16@BestJaxx, *spoilers* The Borealis was the name of the ship
- sarge96, on 08/17/2008, -2/+17I rotated the letters on the side, so It make s a better desktop background. It looks ok, anyway.
http://www.hotlinkfiles.com/files/1697136_zyjss/el ... - EdwardBella, on 08/17/2008, -2/+17I think it's called "crazy stairs."
- svensksvamp, on 08/17/2008, -0/+15Gimp tells me the image will be about 600 gb. Still interested?
- Archer007, on 08/17/2008, -2/+16I agree completely.
- btschul, on 08/16/2008, -2/+15If anyone can do it, it's Valve.
- Narishma, on 08/17/2008, -0/+13The picture is a lie!
- cl0n3x, on 08/17/2008, -2/+14I'd seed it
- PhrosTT, on 08/17/2008, -0/+12did u recreate all that by hand or somehow access the game's rendering engine / textures?
- k104, on 08/16/2008, -0/+12If you don't feel like spending money, you can use www.blockposters.com
- P1um, on 08/17/2008, -0/+12M.C. GLaDOS
