Gears Of War PC Goes Gold

firingsquad.com — Microsoft has announced that the PC version of Gears of War has gone gold. The sci-fi third person action game from developer Epic Games will ship to stores on Nov. 6.

  • BabyWookie, on 10/20/2007, -0/+5You get used to the controls. *****, I never really played a console FPS until I got my 360 with Perfect Dark Zero. It was a nightmare at first. I wasn't sure whether I would ever get a hang of it. Couple of years later, I am finishing Halo 3 on Heroic just fine and digging it too. Getting used to Kb/Mouse controls after Quake came out was a bitch as well.

We have almost gotten PS2's running on PCs. We've gotten Halo 2 Vista into XP. Now it may be a stretch for today's consoles, but SOMEDAY IT WILL BE DONE.

  • BabyWookie, on 10/23/2007, -1/+4Gears is a lot less old than Halo 2. It will still be one of the best looking PC games out there. Plus, there's the extra campaign. I own a 360 and Gears, but I'm still looking forward to playing this at 1920x1200 res (love that 8800GTX) and Kb/Mouse controls. I also have a couple of friends who don't own a 360, but would love to play on their PCs.
