  • walkea1, on 08/16/2008, -3/+42think about this: Milorad Cavic trained for this his entire life, probably giving up every weekend night of the past four years, eating right, never touching any drugs, and being generally miserable just to train to become the best at this event. He gets to the olympics, all his friends and family are watching, and he loses to a guy who already has 6 other medals by 1/100th of a second!!!!!

(Protein and carbs are 4 cal/gram, and fat is 9 cal/gram, but bone is 0, as is water, which makes up a lot of a fish, which is why the average is something like 2 cal/gram).

    That would make 20 points of fish about 18000 calories.

    Phelps eats 12000 calories a day, so the Dolphin wins, but I bet that was a lot closer than you expected!
