It would be very hard to tell that Britain lies 3rd in the medal rankings table from this slide show that seemed to have room for almost every other nation, including Togo but none for the 16 British gold medalists or the other 20 who won silver and bronze. Very odd from the nation we share a "special relationship" with, according to Bush. Christ you even have the French and Chinese in there...I thought you guys hated them!

So, while it could have been done without flash, it's better than 99% of the lists that appear on digg - surrounded by ads, sometimes with ads thrown into the actual gallery as part of the list.

Bottom line, some things just aren't worth getting upset about.

But one thing to note Phelps achieved the finish without a full body "LZR" suit that was hyped up as a possible unfair advantage.
