- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -2/+30The blacks complained when we put them in the back.
- Incidents, on 10/05/2008, -3/+27As a black man, I am impressed.
- Fleshbeast, on 10/05/2008, -1/+21What? All he said was that the majority are black. Is that not true?
- VarelseSoul, on 10/05/2008, -4/+17Why digg him down? It is a valid and true statement
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -1/+12While drugs may be performance enhancing for many musicians....eh music isn't a competition.
Really didn't think that that needed to be stated.... - threemagic, on 10/05/2008, -6/+16There are track and field fans?
- wilf_brim, on 10/05/2008, -2/+12Justin Gatlin is from where I currently live. Sad. It was such a big thing when he won the medals, now in disgrace.
- 9bpm9, on 10/05/2008, -3/+13Why are all the white people at the end?
- cwk1337, on 10/05/2008, -1/+10dawgma: You're the prick here. I hate you over-reacting type of people.
- kellybp1, on 10/05/2008, -3/+11I'd rather see pictures of the US women's gymnastic team.
- thegamingguy, on 10/04/2008, -1/+8Ben Johnson is still the posterboy for me on this.
- AmyVernon, on 10/05/2008, -3/+9I remember when Ben Johnson was stripped of his medal. It was so devastating for track & field fans...
- AboveandBeyond, on 10/05/2008, -20/+25hmmm majority seems to be blacks.
- UnterDenLinden, on 10/05/2008, -0/+5Yes, believe it or not.
It is the simplest of sports, theres some appeal to that. - DayTripper47, on 10/05/2008, -1/+6:D --> :'[
- passedoutghost, on 10/05/2008, -2/+6You do realise half of them are under 18 right?
- Temo1, on 10/05/2008, -0/+4They did it by sport and many runners are black.
- twoyups, on 10/05/2008, -0/+4Is this the reacting to nothing thread? Oh, good!
My arm itches! - twoyups, on 10/05/2008, -0/+4Having read this forum in a "most dugg" order, I found this comment confusingly racist
After viewing the thread, it became properly hilarious - jingles78, on 10/05/2008, -1/+4BIG FAT PHONIES
- noupsell, on 10/05/2008, -2/+5yeah start with that dope in the White House
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -1/+4Pride comes before the fall.
- kman2190, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3sad how athletes sully the games with steroids
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3Awesome. Nothing else needs to be said for this rather funny statement. :)
- Cloned, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3You do realize half of Digg is under 18 right?
- Jamby, on 10/05/2008, -2/+5There is no ***** story here. Whatever happened to journalism? Quit wasting my ***** time with meaningless pictures.
- raz98, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3Andreea Raducan was not doped, she was given a Nurofen (a cold pill) because she was sick and had fever. It gave her absolutely no advantages as the Court of Arbitration concluded, she was not banned from the sport as the others, they just took from her the gold medal.
After that incident that substance was taken off from the banned list in the Olympics since it was already off the list from the FIG (international gymnastics federation). So she may get her gold back. - dawnraid101, on 10/05/2008, -1/+4The context of comment could be taken either way, it really depends on what your mindset towards racial issues are, I simply took it as meaning that the majority of people within the article where black, which is completely true. However you say "He's inferring a belief that black people are cheaters and drug users." obviously these black people are drug takers and cheats or else they wouldn't be in the article, so I dont think he is making a generalised sweeping judgement apoun black people in general.
So why dont you crawl the ***** back to the ***** hole you came from.
Im not being racist, its just something that was stated, and is totally correct. - Tron007, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3HAH!
- Enasni1212, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2I know it's completely irrelevant to the topic of Olympic Dopers (why am I apologizing for going off topic on the internet?), but I think that music IS a competition. Do you really that that Led Zepplin would have been so successful if not for the LSD?
- rollerblader, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2i love track & field on nes
- kaiyen, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2The inclusion of the Romanian gymnast is a bit rough, though. She tested positive for essentially sudafed, if I remember correctly, which she took for a possible cold. At least that's the story I remember. The rest of the photos...remember the 2 greek T&F athletes that dropped out of the Athens games right before they began?
- Temo1, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2You're right... all those people who hate Canadians. Oh wait.
- doingallright, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2Led zeppelin
- UnterDenLinden, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1says ihatediggcom
- LauV, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1i think this is nazi propaganda its only black & jews.
- mattycoze, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1I would still tap Andrea Raducan
- msimeth, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1Runners with huge muscular arms is definitely a sign of doping.
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -1/+2Why act ignorant of the point I made. It was very clear so by trying to make me look dumb you failed and made yourself look desperate.
The US were the power in track, the canucks weren't. - pixeldust, on 10/05/2008, -1/+2It should read Olympic dopers who got caught. I bet you'd be hard pressed to find any olympic athlete who hasn't at one point or another had a "vitamin B" shot.
- karmaghost, on 10/06/2008, -0/+1This is the internet! It's everybody's business!
- Temo1, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1
- VinnieDaMac, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1Cheating knows no boundaries.
- mllawso, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1An athlete shooting up.
Duh. - inactive, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1Funny, I noticed that the Reuter's article put the black athletes first then the white ones--HEY, I'm just saying!
- dawnraid101, on 10/05/2008, -1/+2(cue pedobear) again.
- Setari, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1It doesn't necessarily increase muscle mass. Also, these are sprinters. Sprinters are typically quite muscular, and you wouldn't want to have massive leg and core muscles and then sticks for arms, would you?
- Mankrik, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1Music is art. While I'm don't want to encourage doping, but if someone makes something amazing while under some influence, who gives a crap? Music isn't a direct competition.
Even then, being art, someone who isn't doped can still do better. - snached, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1Yes.
- IIECONII, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1I THAT'D ALL THE LED ZEPPLIN!
