When Pet Owners Go Too Far -- Part 2 [PIC]

lifeinthefastlane.ca — It could only happen in Vegas — a canine competition taken to the max. Poodles in the super ‘bling bling’ creative grooming mash-up — the zenith of the Super Groom 2007 in Las Vegas — were sculpted with sheers, bleached, braided, beaded, feathered and fluffed, most beyond anything recognizable from their former selves.

  • vidorian, on 10/14/2007, -0/+2Who knows some of those dogs may like it. We have a 7 year old dachshund she will whine when we take her collar off until we put it back on. She also has a life jacket and when she sees us take it out she gets all excited and starts jumping etc.

    In her mind the collar off means bath time and life jacket means we are going canoing which she loves. So what i'm trying to say is what the dog associates it with will make it happy or sad.

    (The life jacket is for safety not looks. With 2 inch legs and the current she wears out fast.)

I would never do that to an animal, and believe me, I've been asked things along those lines a number of times. Before you clip your dog ask yourself two questions.......Would I want this done to me, and would this put me in therapy? Give the dog a good, standard, non-humiliating haircut, and save your artistic endeavors to the written word, or paper and brush. Digg me down if you must, but I find those pictures distasteful!
