Even in this new map, you can see Shijuku (MSN), Tokyo (Facebook), Shibuya (Youtube), Ikebukuro (MSN), Kita-Senju (Yahoo) as major stations. Second, I found it interesting to see some sites I was not familiar with, and based on their "subway line" maybe I should check them out. Kudos to someone for doing something clever and entertaining and even - perhaps - useful for some folks.

What the ***** does 0.5 with a little cloud next to it mean? What's the difference between 2.0 with two suns (wtf?) and 2.0 with only one partly-cloud obscured sun?

      I'm down with the cute "mapping the internet" meme, but declaring a site "Web 2.5, cloudy with a chance of rain" is just stupid.

  • Skunkhair, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4GAH! This sucks. Me and my friend have been working on a subway map just like this one using the London Underground (a far more superior system). I was inspired by a poster that did the same thing with musical artists using the Underground. They used influential artists that impacted music as transfer points. Was going to do the same thing with our Web map. The joke of it all was that the Underground is known as Tubes.
