  • padrebuf, on 01/09/2008, -0/+4i think this is true. i went to county jail for 10 days (i know... not prison, and not long). i was scared *****-less until the second day when i realized that all the guys in my pod were in the same situation i was. and they looked just like me too. we were all in it together. i had never been there before, went because of something non-violent and stupid, and am white, so i had always been treated normally by policemen. it quickly became apparent that they did not care who we were on the outside. when we were locked up, we were all the same... menaces.
    the craziest thing i saw while locked up was this white guy who did tattoos on the outside using a big sharpie to do a design on a white t-shirt for another white dude. it was a skull with a couple of rebel flags drapped around it, and said something about the south rising. the weird thing was there were three black dudes standing around the two white guys complementing the work.
