If she just so happens to 'come across' the gun lying on the table, why would she take the time and sit down and inspect/play with the gun? Plus, the way she was handling and looking at the gun was way too long and looked really fake. The camera was placed JUST inside the house, but the glass door was also wide open (screen door was not), the camera wasn't covered by anything. She would have to be really dumb not to see the camera.

If it was not for the 1911 safety features (grip safety, or cocked and locked) she would have clearly dropped the hammer. Loaded on not loaded that is the wrong behavior for owning a pistol.

All the rules and preaching mean nothing when they don't practice what they've been told. As the folks above have already said enough, but bears repeating, assume EVERY gun is loaded. Btw they were both at fault, equally responsible for what happened, and the one the got shot didn't appreciate me telling them that either. ;-)
