- angryfirelord, on 06/03/2009, -1/+85Don't worry, my handy dandy government aircraft identification charts will tell me what it is!
http://sufoit.com/site/images/stories/weather_ball ... - solarsavior, on 06/03/2009, -7/+81All of the video cameras in the world and this is what we get for "proof".
I'm not saying that there isn't life elsewhere and that life hasn't visited Earth, but give me a break. - kelly, on 06/03/2009, -1/+74People... UFO's do not mean aliens. It's an acronym for [U]nidentified [F]lying [O]bject.
It's most likely a secret government project... (or aliens) - raJeeb, on 06/03/2009, -5/+48I WANT TO BELIEVE
- JoeBaynham, on 06/03/2009, -1/+40Why cant people who see UFOs be DSLR owners?
- Grahamcracker, on 06/03/2009, -1/+27FTA: ""They were not planes. These were not balloons. Each one was the size of a building. If they had been balloons, then they would have had to have been huge and they looked weighty." He said the lights were no higher than 3,000ft. "
Really? So, with no scale of comparison in the night sky, this fellow can tell the size and altitude of these objects that seem just like points of light, but can't tell what they are. People love to trick themselves into believing what they want to see. - MWeather, on 06/03/2009, -1/+25Generally anything described as unidentified isn't going to prove anything.
- Falldog, on 06/03/2009, -0/+21Or secret government aliens
- TigerStar337, on 06/03/2009, -1/+18The people likely saw Chinese Lanterns. These are made of paper and have a candle that creates hot air. Really cool to see and fun to watch.
See on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XV7nQU7iaCg or here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0QtdpgT41k - Torx, on 06/03/2009, -0/+16In a related article.
"The glowing orange lights seen above Liverpool and Southport may have been countermeasure flares used to test the radar systems of huge anti-missile guns on the ship.
Countermeasure flares are designed to prevent radar-based missile systems locking on to aircraft by providing multiple targets. " - estebancortez, on 06/03/2009, -11/+26Love it! Hope it's proof. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.........
- inactive, on 06/03/2009, -4/+19"I got a couple of blurred shots"
How convenient ;) - Bloodweaver, on 06/03/2009, -1/+14If they were it wouldn't be unidentified.
- cheezintern, on 06/03/2009, -3/+15Definitely Aliens. There's absolutely no possibility it can be anything else than alien spaceships.
- KSUdesigner, on 06/03/2009, -0/+12How does something that's floating in the air look "weighty"?
- Frankyfan3, on 06/03/2009, -0/+12Not Cardiff?
There's a rift in space time there, dontchya know. - inactive, on 06/03/2009, -3/+13Oh for ***** sake. Look, I would love to believe UFOs are real, enough people have seen weird *****, but this is crap. We need something a bit better than this.
- sockfire, on 06/03/2009, -6/+16I, for one, welcome our new dazzling orange overlords.
- TigerStar337, on 06/03/2009, -0/+10They are Chinese Sky Lanterns. See on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0QtdpgT41k
- mrblack927, on 06/03/2009, -1/+11Then they would be black.
Light is either reflected or absorbed in solid objects. I'm not saying the technology to bend light around objects is impossible, but they wouldn't be invisible naturally. They would either have color (reflect some light) or be black (reflect no light) in our visible spectrum. - IncredibleHink, on 06/03/2009, -1/+11Looks like sky candles to me..... I'm just sayin'
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&se ... - Julie188, on 06/03/2009, -2/+10Why are we so sure that UFOs will come from the sky flashing bright lights? Maybe they will materialize before our eyes Star Treck style.
- Dafman, on 06/03/2009, -0/+8I saw the exact same lights in Guildford about 3 weeks ago, we just thought it was a fleet of helicopters or something
- Thud, on 06/03/2009, -0/+7Right.
Also, I have no idea what they were, but I can say with much certainty that they were building-sized, and "no higher than 3000ft." Because we humans are so good at judging distances to objects in the night sky. - inactive, on 06/03/2009, -0/+6I, for one, welcome our new alien slaves
- jchrome, on 06/03/2009, -2/+8The article isn't offering this photo up as proof, it merely describes what these eye-witnesses (notoriously inconsistent and unreliable, sadly) claim to have seen.
- individual61, on 06/03/2009, -0/+6That is precisely what I came here to post. I don't know why you've been downvoted.
I used to live beside a Chilean navy base, a few km north of Valparaíso. They would occasionally do AA shots out over the ocean at dusk or at night. The tracers follow what looks like a ridiculously flat path, and they don't seem to slow down, until they disappear suddenly after a few seconds.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my 2 cents. - ToddSchishler, on 06/03/2009, -1/+7Why do people get their panties in a bunch over the phrase UFO. It stands for "unidentified flying object." Can any of you identify those flying objects? ?o? Then they're unidentified flying objects until someone identifies them. Nowhere does it imply alien or extraterrestrial, just that no one knows what they are.
- supradave, on 06/03/2009, -0/+6The one thing I'm always wondering and interested in is if there are any reports of UFO's (other than Ezekiel's Wheel) in the annals of history. Especially prior to the Montgolfier Brother's and their balloon. You would think that if there were things zipping about in the sky that weren't man made, reports prior to man putting stuff in the sky would be better evidence. And the skies were much darker then too.
- inactive, on 06/03/2009, -2/+8Looks like just after sunset , just about a good time for the sun to hit something like balloons released from a stadium or migrating birds.
- bcr8u, on 06/03/2009, -0/+5looks like unidentified lights in the sky to me!
- diggforworld, on 06/03/2009, -4/+9Indeed, the InterGalactic Space Organization banned it saying that orange is too gay a color.
- gargantuan, on 06/03/2009, -2/+7well, the sun is low in the sky behind the houses. That could be light refelcting off the underside of any number of things. eg: a bunch of those silver helium balloons. And no one can judge distances when they're looking up into a sky like that.
- solmakou, on 06/03/2009, -1/+6Dugg for swamp gas.
- RealmDown, on 06/03/2009, -1/+6fire is now one of the twelve steps ?
- FDisk, on 06/03/2009, -1/+6Or sane.
- zombiecarlin, on 06/03/2009, -1/+6Maybe because UFO stands for "Unidentified FLYING Object" and not "Unidentified Appearing Out of ***** Nowhere Object".
- Salinator, on 06/03/2009, -0/+5Such blind certainty...what do you know that we don't?
- inactive, on 06/03/2009, -2/+7maybe the light that their skin reflects isn't even in our visible spectrum
- ralphthemagi, on 06/03/2009, -1/+5Or both. It's probably the secret government project to create human-alien hybrids.
Why does that sound familiar... - EarlOfLade, on 06/03/2009, -0/+4Well, this is clearly not any form of space ships although it's correct to call it a UFO until the content has been identified.
However, the content is quite Earthly and easy to explain. Notice the low setting sun in the background, the light seen in the sky, is simply sun light bouncing off birds.
Load the image into a viewer and zoom in. - commentposted, on 06/03/2009, -0/+4It's funny because Boswell rhymes with Roswell.
- groverblue, on 06/03/2009, -2/+6Everyone knows that aliens don't use the color orange. geez
- whitesaint, on 06/03/2009, -3/+7Check out the Alien interview video which claims to have smuggled video footage of an alien out of S-4, near Area 51:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-411441482 ...
And a very interesting documentary with Bob Lazar, who claimed to have worked on alien spacecraft at S-4 and explains in great detail how the alien spacecraft works:

What do you guys think? - yellowsnowcone, on 06/03/2009, -1/+4they look like chinese lanterns ... quite pretty when they float up into the sky
- FeloniusMonkey, on 06/03/2009, -0/+3Indeed... exactly what I was going to post as well.
- inactive, on 06/03/2009, -0/+3when it is dark. something illuminated by the sun is very bright. you know like that moon thing.
- mickstephenson, on 06/03/2009, -0/+3Clearly birds, they are even flying in a (somewhat half-assed) characteristic V formation.
- kelly, on 06/03/2009, -1/+4or CRAB PEOPLE!
- YourMomsAnAnon, on 06/03/2009, -1/+4Because they hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't.
