- Foxprowl, on 02/04/2009, -0/+115Couldn't he just...never mind. This is retarded
- indubitably, on 02/04/2009, -16/+109If people in Europe think you stink... then you must reaaaaally stink.
- Ninjao, on 02/04/2009, -1/+79I thought I was about to read an Onion article.
- orithidon, on 02/03/2009, -3/+65Seriously? 10 years to decide that the guy can attend school though his feetsies smell icky?
What about all the stupid people that are allowed to attend class? Where is the judicial review for them? - Leprince, on 02/04/2009, -0/+60***** WASH HIS DAMN FEET??
- serif69, on 02/04/2009, -7/+61It's funny because I'm an American and I shower daily and think that Europeans are communist barbarians without indoor plumbing.
- hopeunknownmb, on 02/04/2009, -0/+53You would think that a shower would be more prudent than a decade long legal struggle.
- thegamingguy, on 02/04/2009, -2/+40So in that decade he was unable to find another school? He could have gotten 2 degrees or more in that time.
- inactive, on 02/04/2009, -0/+35I guess you could say it was hard for him to get his foot in the door.
- Paulorific, on 02/04/2009, -0/+26How about he just washes his damn feet?
- KarlH, on 02/04/2009, -0/+24It must have been a difficult trial. "Odor! Odor in court!"
- insomniacal, on 02/04/2009, -0/+24Take it from a public school teacher: if you criticize the school for banning him, you don't know how bad some students can smell.
Especially college students, come to think of it. What's with those dreadlock hippies at Trader Joes? They reek from the next aisle. - inactive, on 02/04/2009, -0/+23Some might say the Netherlands school board was de-feeted solely by a student just trying to get a better footing in life.
- elpepe, on 02/04/2009, -1/+19So now the school's new policy is to FINE people with smelly feet? WTF... how is that any better?
And is this such a big problem? Four years of college, and I never once had any problem with smelling foot odor in class. - minoss, on 02/04/2009, -0/+17Probably because you weren't in this guy's class.
- whatthefu, on 02/04/2009, -0/+16Wouldn't it be more cost-effective to like, you know, treat the food odor problem?
- Biscuitz, on 02/04/2009, -0/+16Damn, what a useless waste of money.
On a side note, I do agree that if you can't take a ***** bath, you need not be around people. I'm tired of going to my classes only to have to deal with the anime freak guy that doesn't shower, he makes me gag. - Netmindstorm, on 02/04/2009, -1/+15>>Seriously? 10 years to decide that the guy can attend school though his feetsies smell icky?<<
Some people are just so callus, but I'm sure that on the heel of victory, many more people will see the great injustice done here although you will always have those that just toe the line - gnotDigger, on 02/04/2009, -1/+15WEAR SHOES
- theradical, on 02/04/2009, -1/+14wow, ten years on they must smell quite a bit worse.
- mikbunn, on 02/04/2009, -1/+14Which ones? Law, history, languages, philosophy?
- theradical, on 02/04/2009, -0/+12that's a good point, doctor.
- okgaz, on 02/04/2009, -0/+12.. or wash his feet!?
Taking a shower in the morning beats a 10 year legal battle in my book. - MWeather, on 02/04/2009, -0/+12I think you're confusing knowledge with intelligence. There are educated idiots, and ignorant geniuses.
- JFitzpatrick, on 02/04/2009, -0/+10When I was a high school teacher, it was pretty par for the course to have stinky ass students, especially the males. My god the whole school smelled like hamster piss.
Now at the college level I don't notice it too often. Although I did have one notable student who smelled like he'd woken up after a night of hard drinking in a pool of his own urine and just shrugged and said "Can't be late to class!" and showed up anyway. Blech. - pilgrim3970, on 02/04/2009, -0/+10toetally...
- hfactor, on 02/04/2009, -0/+10Yeah we just wallow in filth when it starts to itch.
- Danltn, on 02/04/2009, -0/+10the *****.
- worldstoaster, on 02/04/2009, -1/+11so true. I got on the campus bus today and sat behind another student. While i was staring at the back of his head i couldn't help but notice he had so much dandruff it looked like he had been infected with lice. Not too mention he smelled like he hadn't showered in ***** at least a week. I don't understand what's so hard about making sure you don't smell like *****.
- GoldenBoy1993, on 02/04/2009, -3/+1210 years? I fear for humanities future
- 1337Einstein, on 02/04/2009, -0/+9No, we're the fat ones, it's the Europeans who don't bathe, get your stereotypes straight.
- serif69, on 02/04/2009, -1/+10But he really socked it to them.
- PizzaEagle, on 02/04/2009, -1/+10Good for him, he really dug his heels in and refused to concede
- Chooxo, on 02/04/2009, -0/+8*sniff*
GTFO. - richgustavson, on 02/04/2009, -2/+10wat
- hulkhelton, on 02/04/2009, -1/+8because you were the guy that everyone else was smelling :)
- inactive, on 02/04/2009, -0/+7Uhh 80% of front-page stories are "goofy."
- CoD4, on 02/04/2009, -0/+7no no just his feet smelling like onions
- DyceFreak, on 02/04/2009, -0/+7ok wash feet + goldbond... ffs... clean ur self you slob
- 15thPD, on 02/04/2009, -0/+7is wrong with this guy.
- NightEmber79, on 02/04/2009, -0/+7They could amputate both of his feet and replace them with wheels, but then he'd have to register as a motor vehicle.
- inactive, on 02/04/2009, -0/+6now class, what did we learn in court this decade?
- murocan, on 02/04/2009, -1/+7There is no logic here. Only lulz.
- netneutrality, on 02/04/2009, -1/+7Eurgh. That's the most disturbing comment I've read on Digg since this morning.
- ictoan, on 02/04/2009, -0/+6Is he a hobbit?
- zaferk, on 02/04/2009, -0/+6Its a matter of principal
/sarcasm - chinaman1212, on 02/04/2009, -7/+12I thought it was normal for stupid people to go to school. why would someone smart need further education?
- DulcetTone, on 02/04/2009, -4/+9With socialized medicine, why didn't they just amputate?
- dhVyse, on 02/04/2009, -0/+5Yeah showering is important.
- Volatile36, on 02/04/2009, -0/+5Neckbeards and silk dragon shirts.
